NTR Church Developement Progress 17 (Patreon)
Content
Hello!
This week has been a bit rough for the game progress, some unknown bug occurred in my Unity that prevented me from importing animated data I created from Spine into the Unity game object, I lost 2 days scratching my head and even remaking the spine animation multiple times, but thankfully the bug somehow disappeared and I can continue to work again.
This week I'm focusing on creating a shop system, what you see is an early look at the shop, some images will change upon completion.
For this game shop system, I will use the same concept as my previous game, the shopkeeper will always have something to say about the items and will respond if you buy something. additionally, the item will be put into 3 categories, General Items, Church Upgrades, and Contract Upgrades to make it easier to navigate around the shop.
General item will have game support goods that will help you finish the game, possibly vanilla route will rely on these items
Church Upgrade will have items for Heroines and new properties for the church to unlock more job options aside from the initial one, you need this upgrade to finish Rendy training as a proper priest and reach the endings, or unlock some 'extra option' in the job for the heroine to boost their work and your training
Contract Upgrades is Rendy's exclusive service from Anne, Rendy will have to become Anne's test subject for her 'research' in demon kin forbidden magic 'Curse Contract', thankfully Anne has a way to proxy the curse into a different object, making the subject soul safe from the side effect from the curse. At first, only small power can be obtained from this, but with more money and more 'Faith' accumulated from the church, she can upgrade Rendy's power to unleash more powerful spells to use (mainly for peeping the heroines), but the more powerful spell the more sacrifice it needs, maybe Rendy will need to share a bit of his soul to upgrade the magic after all?
Also I'm sorry, looks like I'm unable to finish the game early build this month, a lot of mechanics are not yet implemented, so I hope I can finish this in March at least.
That's all! Thank you!
