7/7, Happy Ayane-versary! (Patreon)

She started out as one of my first experiments at creating an anime-style character with photorealistic aspects using the Sakura 8 model as a base. The idea was to create a tribute to a "dark-haired tomboy with violet eyes" animegirl type, with lots of different characters in mind, from Motoko Kusanagi to Akane Tendo. It didn't take long for her popularity to eclipse every other character I'd ever made. In fact, as creative works go, she's more successful than anything I've made in any medium (audio or visual).
