PowerGrade brings a Camera Raw-style workflow and DaVinci Resolve-level grading into Blender. Like Camera Raw, it gives you a clean panel of sliders for white balance, exposure, contrast, shadows, highlights, vibrance and sharpness. Like Resolve, it goes deeper, with Lift/Gamma/Gain, curves, gradable masks, lens effects, film grain and overlays. It all lives in one real-time sidebar in the Compositor or 3D Viewport, with no node trees and no exporting. Isolate objects with Cryptomatte or Depth masks, and switch between unlimited grades in one click. Save your own presets and reuse them in any project through Blender's Asset Browser and Asset Shelf.
Watch the preview of the new features on my YouTube channel, in your own language. Dubbed in 21 languages.
What's New in PowerGrade 2.2
Masks
Unlimited masks per grade: Ellipse, Square, or Custom (Cryptomatte, Depth, or any compositor node). Each mask carries its own full grade and color fill, and you move and resize it right on the image or in the Real-Time 3d Viewport.
New Custom Overlays
Add unlimited image and video layers: light leaks, dust, scratches, textures, logos. In new Through Lens mode, distortion and blur bend the overlay so it sits inside the shot.
Motion Blur for stills
Zoom, spin and linear streaks with chromatic aberration. A mask keeps the subject sharp. Lens Distortion now has Fringe Color too.
New Color Correction
Camera Caw-style controls in Blender: White Balance with an eyedropper, Shadows and Highlights, Contrast with Pivot, and Color Boost. Details (Sharpness and Softness) replaces the old Filter block.
Faster workflow
Every block has an eye toggle, and a hidden block isn’t computed at all. Your presets now show up in Blender 5’s Asset Shelf. Plus tooltips on every control and one-click install as a Blender Extension.
Masks:
Grade one object, not the whole frame. Pick the object with Cryptomatte, the background with Depth, or a corner of the frame with an Ellipse. Each mask is its own small grade, with exposure, contrast, color balance and color fill. Every grade keeps its own masks, so switching looks never breaks them.

Multiple Grades
The biggest new feature. You can now create multiple separate grades inside one file — each with its own exposure, color balance, curves, vignette, grain, and all other settings completely independent from the others.
Asset System
PowerGrade 2.1 and 2.2 integrate with Blender's native Asset Browser. You can save any grade as an asset, set a cover preview image, and reuse it across all your Blender projects — just like any other Blender asset. Drag, drop, and you're grading.
How I Use PowerGrade 2.2
Legacy Project Support
Your old grades still work.
Open a project graded with PowerGrade 2.1 or older and press Add New Features. Your grades upgrade in one click and look exactly the same afterwards. You only get a warning if a setting that was removed was actually used in that grade.
Versions
PowerGrade 2.2 requires Blender 5.0 or newer. PowerGrade 2.1 stays available for Blender 4.x and 5.x.
PowerGrade 2.2 for 5.0.x — Blender 5.0 and higher
PowerGrade 2.1 for 5.0.x — Blender 5.0 and higher
PowerGrade 2.1 for 4.2.x — Blender 4.2 - 4.5
Purchase & Updates
PowerGrade has two access options:
One-time purchase — you buy it once. Every future update lands in your inbox automatically, completely free. No extra payments, no subscriptions.
Patreon membership — gives you access to the current version while your membership is active. Cancel the membership, and the download access goes with it.
If you want permanent access with all future updates included — the one-time purchase is the way to go.
How to Install
Installation is simple — just like any Blender add-on:
Download the ZIP file from this post
In Blender, go to Edit → Preferences → Add-ons
Press Install from Disk and select the ZIP file
Enable the add-on and start grading
Or simply drag and drop the ZIP file directly into Blender.
