(Update at the end)

It's been a few hectic weeks for me, between being busy irl and frustrated with Pixiv support because they banned my account and refused to tell me why..

To break down their response:

They gave an excerpt of ToS, telling me to review and fix violations. Which is fine, except, they also went 'we cannot tell you why and which exact work violates ToS'. Which meant I had to guess what was wrong based on the few lines of vague rules and make the changes on 3 years worth of posts. And the next day they'd reply that the violations were still there and pretty much repeated the same thing.

Now, I was sure I didn't break any rules except one that goes 'links to websites deemed inappropriate by the company'.. I found out by process of elimination that they suddenly didn't like itch links anymore but my bad for not being a mind reader, I guess.

I did eventually get the ban lifted afterwards.

Sorry for the long rant, anyways, let's start with the update: L2D animation!

I've started learning the program and am trying it out with some basic ideas first. I'm learning with the trial, but if it turns out well, I might get a subscription and make one every now and then.

I know I've mentioned not being interested in 2D animation anymore a while ago, but that was mostly referring to my older works which used Blender 3D to replicate the L2D concept, and was much more tedious. I'll probably look at making different loops with varying speed and maybe slap on some simple sfx.

There are also a bunch of works I have not completed, the next few days I'll be focused and will try to finish them plus this animation in time for March rewards. All that lost time really hurt.. that's all for now!

sorry to hear about your troubles pivix. really sucks that they arent clear. i am looking forward to seeing your animations though! ❤️

It's awful they are being vague on purpose, could've saved me so much time and headache if they just dropped a one-liner 'itch.io no go' or something like that.. Thank you though, glad the animation interests you!

2026-10-24 03:00 Yeah that’s pixiv for you. Most unhelpful support there is. The fact you need there premium service to replace images is a scam. Basically it’s either repost said post and lose all the engagements or pay them.

I’m sorry that you were having troubles with Pixiv. The animation looks nice, keep up the good work.

That's true, its silly to paywall editing caption text or replace image. I have premium because previously I needed to change the text to link the itch/gumroad sets, because I don't want people to join Patreon/Fanbox if the specific set is not there. There were a lot of people that had to 'double dip' because I did not have it in the past. I guess now I don't have to, since they banned these links lol.

Malokc

That’s cringe asf of them

Ah I know you!

Yeah sadly pixiv isn’t run the best despite the large size of the site and all the rules and restrictions that aren’t even that clearly stated.

ActualE

Yeah, I totally feel you... Due to Pixiv being located in Japan, things can be a little bit "Strange" toward outsider like us... Hope it get better on your side, JH~!😘🙏

That’s pretty awful of pixiv. But in better news that gif you made is quite good.

Oh... That does sound pretty rough. I hope things go smoothly from here on out. By the way, the animation looks amazing—I really like it! (=^▽^=)
