October 1st Development Update (Patreon)

Let's see... when was the last dev update post... oh... shit.
Hello all you amazing supporters who are still here despite the recent inactivity and lack of updates!
It has been, uh, quite a bit since my last dev update. So, rather than continuing to wait until I have more to show to post a dev update, I thought it would be better to at least give you all some kind of update on what's going on with the game.
First off, I have not given up on the game. I want to finish the story the original BayshoreDev started, and I do have plans for where the story will go. I haven't figured out an exact end to the story quite yet, but I have a number of ideas of things to include before we get there. Also, the girls will eventually grow even bigger, but even though getting to that point may take a bit of story progression I hope to make it worth the wait once it finally happens.
Related to actually writing the story, I think it's about time I reveal who I've brought in to help me. The one and only WhitefoxAI has been working with me on a bunch of story ideas and Bayshore lore stuff. One big thing we've been figuring out is the origin of the serum that Sophia adapted for her own research. Whitefox also wrote the big track scene in the upcoming update, which I will talk more about in a later post. He's also helping keep me motivated to work on the game.
Speaking of working on the game, I'm back in the code again. I've got some fun ideas for choices the player can potentially make on the next day, and I will need your input on some things. In fact, I have a bunch of spots where I need small ideas for scenes, and I want to ask all of you for ideas. Expect a number of posts with polls or idea requests related to individual scenes in the upcoming update. One example is the short breakfast scene with Sophia and Jessica, in which I need an idea for a topic the two of them can chat about (the post for this will come later).
As for the actual completion progress is for the next update, I have the events of the next game day all planned out (along with most events for the two following days). I'm currently fleshing out the game logic and scene progression for the next game day, which involves making sure all the conditional dialogue logic is in place and the player choices and scenes flow correctly together. There's a lot of things to check for considering all the different ways you can reach this day (four different routes and multiple combinations of volunteers for the first two experiments), but I still think it's worth it to make sure the dialogue accurately reflects the timeline of ingame events.
That's it for this little development update. I'm getting back in the habit of making posts, so I will be much better about keeping you all appraised of how things are going. I'm also looking forward getting your input and ideas with upcoming Patreon posts.
As always, thank you all so much for your continued support.
