This update progresses the Bayshore Academy story two more days, but it's not just two days of content included in this update. There are actually SIX days of content, any two of which can play out in almost any order! Dr. Fletcher has tasked the player with finding volunteers for three experiments, so two of the girls that have not reached size two will get a chance to grow. The order of the experiments is determined by your relationships with the other girls of a route. The highest relationship will automatically be chosen, and if there is a tie you get to decide! This means that all of your choices up to this point will determine the who you convince to volunteer for the upcoming experiments.

This update also includes Skip Functionality, Persistent Progress Tracking, Additional Flag and Scene Requirements, and Improved Relationship Change Notifications, all of which were implemented in the v0.16.5 Backend QoL Update. If you did not play v0.16.5, you will need to make new saves. Old saves from v0.16 or earlier are not compatible with v0.17.

One important note, the growth scenes are reused from earlier in the story. BayshoreDev did an amazing job writing these sequences originally, so I did not want to try to re-write these sequences and left them untouched. All other scenes are either completely new or re-written to be new in context of the story.

This is a Early Access ALPHA release, so there will be bugs and missing content. The ALPHA release is dialogue complete through day 15, but is missing scene variations and content for day 16. This does not prevent you from playing through both days, but there will be dialogue that seems out of context on day 16. There are also numerous missing sprite expression changes and placeholder pieces of dialogue that will be filled in later. I will be continuing to work on the update throughout the week, and will have a BETA release in a few days to incorporate fixes and include missing content. I am relying on all of you wonderful patrons and supporters to help me playtest this ridiculously complicated update, and would love to hear feedback to help improve scenes or dialogue. Please direct all feedback and bug reports to the appropriate early-access discord channels.
