Alrighty, it looks like Elena will be first for sprite reworks and updates. So, let's talk about her design. Elena's main color is blue (and it's her favorite color), so her outfits should naturally have blues in it. I don't want her to have only blues in her outfit, but it should be the dominant color. My thought is Elena would wear something comfortable and practical, especially since her size makes it difficult to find certain clothing styles.

Her gym outfit is staying the same. The blue sports bra / bikini combo is how she's first introduced in the game, and it works very well for her. Her underwear is going to also stay blue, along with her dress and bikini sprites. I also don't think I'll be changing her size 2 casual outfit design (the blue tank top and shorts look great on her).

So, with that out of the way, let's talk about her starting casual outfit.As a bodybuilder and with her self confidence, it makes sense for Elena to wear a tank top, as it lets her show her sculpted arms (definitely one of her charm points). For those who remember the old original sprites, her casual outfit was sorta a white tanktop/t-shirt depending on the sprite, which was fixed in the first sprite rework to be a tank top for all sprites. So, I'll be sticking with a tank top for her casual outfit. For her bottoms, I think a set a tight jeans works really well for her design, and helps show off her leg muscles without making them the focus. They're blue (which is a plus), practical (they have pockets), and will switch to jean shorts when she grows for the first time (since she probably ends up needing to tear the jeans into shorts to fit her larger legs in them). Also, Elena is the only character who wears blue jeans, so that is unique to her.

With that in mind, I have two questions : What color should her starting tank top be? The majority of the cast starts the game with white tops (white tank tops for Elena and Mia, a white shirt for Jessica). I think it's fine to start with simple basic outfits which change to be more unique and color coded as they grow (Elena switching to a blue top, Jessica red, etc). The shopping scenes at size 2 are important after all. But, I can also see value in having the girls more color coded earlier on, so I'm not opposed to starting Elena with a blue tank top (this would however prevent the color change for her new outfit at size two).Should her jeans be torn? Elena's jeans are unique to her, so I have the opportunity to have her start with either pristine jeans or torn jeans (before she switches to cutoff jean shorts). I think torn jeans lead a little better into the cutoff shorts, somewhat showing that she's not going to waste a pair of comfortable well worn jeans and will make them work until she gets something that fits better.

Personally, I think a white tank top and torn jeans is the better looking starting casual outfit. It's simple, comfortable, and practical. But what do you all think?
