Alien and Aliens are absolutely must watch films. Both tonally different, but equally masterful.

Alex Ch

Scary Movie is a scene for scene remake of Scream. It would be odd to watch it first. I voted for Alien - that’s always fun.

Aendery2k

I love Alien and Aliens, but Alien is Horror through and through. Beware. Even if you don't watch it for the channel, I highly recommend Coraline!

The Dingo

She is watching MCU in release order. She is only at Season 1 of What If

Rog

Definitely Alien for this one but shoutout for poltergeist 1982 for the next poll.

Adam Doyle

save American Psycho and Alien for a non Halloween scare. Scary Movie should be watched after you have seen a lot of other movies. Coraline is great (even better if you can watch on a 3D tv)... but for traditional spooky Halloween fair, you can't beat Sleepy Hollow. Get a warm cider and some pumpkin pie and turn on the A/C to add a nice chill factor.

Mike Smith

Oh wow I'm shocked to see some legitimate horror films on here.

Nathan Swapp

For me, October spooky movies should have that whimsical horror vibe so that's why I voted Sleepy Hollow. Most of these are year round horror.

Robert Inman

I concur Sleepy Hollow is more of a Halloween theme. Also another side of Johnny Depp.

David D

I think you're most likely to enjoy Coralline and am surprised at the low number of votes. Alien and Aliens (the second) are really good though and I think you'll be OK with them.

Steve Mercier

If in doubt, always Alien. Always.

Steve J

I feel like I've seen 20 Alien reactions between Patreon and YouTube in the last 2 months. I voted Sleepy Hollow, I feel like that's a way better 'scary fun Halloween movie'

Andy Munden

Sleepy Hollow is defintely a more Halloween vibe than Alien. Alien is good, but can be watched year round

Horace Cocroft

I've been too much of a scaredy-cat to watch Alien, but if you can do it, I can do it! We'll be freaked out together

Jasbro

Pooor Jax, you know we're going to vote for the only scary movie in that poll, hopefully she'll forgive us.

Jasbro

Why are so many saying save Alien for a non Halloween scare reaction, like she will ever watch a scary movie outside of Halloween, this is litterally the only time she will be willing to watch it..

Steve J

I'd argue the first Terminator is a horror built on a sci-fi skeleton.

Richard Flores

And I think Alien has won and there's no going back and this might be the most uncomfortable reaction ever as Jax hits her fear ceiling and gets truly scared and hates this movie. I thought Shaun of the Dead was gonna be that, but she found so much humor in that movie. And what's gonna happen when there is no humor? I'm just saying... I think these poll results gave me an ulcer. I am genuinely worried.

Paul G

Hey Jax, on your polls, would you consider adding the year the movie came out next to the titles just to avoid any confusion with remakes/reboots?

Richard Flores

She just dropped it and I only read the description text. This sounded bad. I don't plan to watch this, but have you? Is it bearable? Or do you see her gradually losing trust in us as an audience?
