Remember The Titans is such an incredible film! I laughed, cried, and got their "We are the Titans" chant stuck in my head for the rest of the day. This film left quite an impression. While the entire cast is phenomenal, Denzel steals the show.

Get your box of tissues, your cozy blanket, and get ready for the best cry of your life!

I’ve only seen this movie once and that was about 15 years ago when I was a kid. I was definitely too young to understand anything that was going on in this lol. So I can’t wait to watch this along with you. Edit: this movie was absolutely amazing!

Alex Gorell

I’ve never actually seen this before so this will be a first time watch me for as well.

Marshariki Bowie

yeah, I am old enough to have seen this in Theaters. it is defiantly one of the movies that cemented Mr. Washington stardom. however my favorite comment of yours was 1:00 "I'm just in the mood to watch a heartwarming Sports film" too cute 🥰🐑

David Bourgeois

Great movie full of many emotions, but the best is the coach's daughter Sheryl Yoast played by Hayden Panettiere, she's so funny :-)

Ed Scoglio

"I want you to make them remember forever the night they played the Titans." That speech still gets me fired up to this day!

Mike Smith

One of the things I love about this movie is how it draws three-dimensional characters rather than resorting to lazy stereotyping. For example, Sunshine is an extremely realistic depiction of a Californian.

I'm glad I got to watch along with you Jax. I had a good feeling you'd enjoy this movie.

Jax, this is one of my favorite films of All Time for a number of reasons. There are a lot of people that treat this time period in American as ancient history but most of us have either lived through it or have parents and grand parents that have. I was born in 1964 and I am Native American in South Louisiana. By the time I started school, they had just started integration and the memories are seared into my soul and even though I am fully healed and understand my place in the Universe, I still see scars. The scenes that show the divide, the looks, the behind the back talk, the diner scene......were less than 60 years ago! Of course it is much better now but to think that the hate is gone, one either has to be delusional, blind, or nonchalant to it with the latter being the worst with the main difference being that it comes from all sides now. Of course like with most Hollywood films dramatic license was taken with some scenes in this film but I can almost guarantee you the reality was very painful, very real and much more dramatic! The musical score and the soundtrack have so much meaning for each scene which makes each individual scene even more impactful! For example, when Julius shows up at Gerry's house and meets his Mom, the song is Cat Stevens "Peace Train" which is an anthem for hope and a better way. James Taylor's "Fire and Rain" is playing right before Gerry's accident, it has so much significance because of a couple of tragic life events that James Taylor was going through became the inspiration for the song. Then there are so many great performances in the film, we have Denzel Washington doing Denzel Washington things, Will Patton as Coach Bill Youst, Hayden Panettiere steals every scene she is in, and the relationship between Julius (Wood Harris) and Gerry (Ryan Hurst) is so beautiful and genuine! It is a film I make myself watch when I need it most because even though it has tragedy and some very heartfelt scenes (YES I CRY EVERY TIME) it is more than anything a TRIUMPHANT FILM!!
