I thought this was the PERFECT ending, so thats why I didn't know how to feel about season 4. Am I excited? Yes. Will I watch it? Yes. I just hope it doesn't take away from this perfect ending. Man it was so great watching this with you. (Also a short 8 ep rec for the future is Queens Gambit on Netflix!)

Loved all your reactions for this show! Such a good ending and while I'm excited for Season 4, I do worry about the quality remaining the same but I believe in the writers.

A perfect ending to the most perfect reactions of one of my all-time favorite shows. I am a little nervous about S4 since it’s hard to capture lightning in a bottle twice, but I’ll be there day 1 for episode 1. I did just read that they’re casting an older actor to play Ted’s son so I’m curious as to how that will play out so we’ll have to wait and see. Thank you for all the extra Jaxerrific reactions, as always!

Such a beautiful ending, I loved this show. I really enjoyed ur reactions to this and to rewatch this with you, its just such a great show and one of my favorites. Even tho I am kinda excited for a 4th season, after this end, I am worried that they will miss the mark, or at least I dont know how they will bring them all back together, but I have hope. Thanks for this reaction, I am glad you enjoyed this show as much as you did, its just so well crafted, and the mix between comedy and drama is just perfect. My favorite episode, its a difficult pick, but I would say its probably the Amsterdam one or maybe the one with Sams dad or the christmas one or maybe another one, I really cant pick one as this show has so many great ones.

after watching this, I don't want a fourth season. it ended brilliantly and I think a 4th season is asking too much. I really enjoyed watching this for the first time with you.

This has been such a great ride. I had not seen the show before heading into the reactions. It's become one of my favorite shows. I can't imagine how they can top this ending with a another season. But I'm here for it 💥

Really enjoyed rewatching this show with you and I've grown a greater appreciation for seasons 2 and 3. I always thought a neat idea for season 4 would be for Ted to coach the U.S. World Cup team and he could run into former players over the course of the tournament. Will be interesting to see where they go with it.

It was a great ending, but... big but... I have a theory. I think the whole montage scene of what happens to the team and everyone after Ted leaves is Ted dreaming on the flight. Look at the timing - it all happens during Ted's flight, despite covering all the way out to late in Jane's pregnancy and her marriage to Beard, etc - and it ends with Ted waking up on the plane as it touches down, which would just be a few hours later. It could just be creative license, but it also could be a way of keeping things open for what happens next. And, to be fair, the outcomes are exactly the sort of happy closures that Ted would optimistically envision for everyone. Guess we'll see when season 4 comes around!

if you want something else to enjoy when you have a spot free might i recommend The Legend of Vox Machina (on amazon prime) based from youtube company critical role (voice actors playing dnd) animated show

One thing I was slightly surprised about is that they kept showing how disinterested Dr. Jacob was during the match and it seemed like Michelle was bothered by it, but then there was no final note that she had ended it with him. Not that I think she and Ted should get back together, so I guess it didn't really matter.

Michael Jones

I am nervous about season 4, but I trust them to land it, especially since he seems to be coming back to coach the Richmond Women's Team. A new challenge. And maybe we'll actually get to find out what Rebecca's Flying Dutchman's name is.
