This was such a laugh out loud comedy! It was definitely what I was in the mood for. I'm surprised at how well the jokes held up since this movie was made so many years ago. Leslie Nielsen absolutely shines in this role!

Watched on: Amazon's Paramount+ / Runtime: 1:25:00

Hope you enjoy!!

I'm sure someone's already mentioned it, but that is Higgins real wife in the show.

"When I see 5 weirdos dressed in togas stabbing a guy in the middle of the park in full view of 100 people, I shoot the bastards. That's my policy." Et tu, Drebin? There are several great baseball cameos in this movie but my favorite is Reggie Jackson as the brainwashed assassin. Reggie, also known as Mr. October for his clutch postseason play, was one of the greatest hitters of all time. He played for the California Angels later in his career but is best known for his time with the Oakland A's and New York Yankees where he won five World Series rings between both teams. He hit 563 home runs over his career, 14th all time. Another cameo was Jim Palmer as one of the broadcast announcers, one of the best pitchers of the 70's. He won 3 World Series with the Baltimore Orioles. Vin Scully was a huge fan of Airplane! and wanted to be in this movie, but unfortunately the Dodgers wouldn't let him.
