This movie was such a blast!! At first, I wasn't sure if I liked the name...but it definitely grew on me once I learned more. I feel like Marvel was trying to throw us off a little!! This group of super heroes has a wonderful mix of personalities. Yelena is a fantastic nucleus to this group and Walker's story has evolved tremendously since the last time we saw him. These characters are all being positioned to have a lot of growth for future projects. It was really special finally getting that ensemble cast that I'd been dreaming about since we left the Infinity Saga behind.

While this film was so much fun, it also packs an emotional punch. The people of this world have been through it they really didn't shy away from how that would impact these characters. For the first time in a long time, these people are not on their own. I can't wait to see where they go from here.

Thunderbolts* reminds me so much of why I fell in love with the MCU in the first place. It was just a really great film!

When I saw this movie for the first time in a theater, I thought to myself, "Finally! Why hasn't Marvel been making movies like this the entire time? What were they waiting for?" I also loved how this story was built around Yelena, and becomes a beautiful eulogy to Black Widow's memory, through her surviving adopted family. --- It's interesting how both Stranger Things and Thunderbolts have sonic superpower-suppression devices. And when Yelena is traveling through The Void, it's a lot like Max and Holly traveling through Henry's memories.

Yeah the whole New Avengers thing was supposed to be a surprise at the end. They added it to the title and marketing after the first week when the movie wasn't doing well. Its a great movie, just wish they didn't spoil that twist.

Please don't watch the other Fantastic Four movies - they are not related at all, and honestly are pretty bad.

First MCU movie I saw in theaters twice since Endgame and it was worth it. It's hard to describe the sense of shock that came over the audience when that little girl turned into a shadow. That was legit horrifying. Just also realized that a long with the Stranger Things finale, Jax, not only are you watching David Harbour in 2 amazing scenes about trauma and grief, but you are also seeing him in 2 things where the villain puts people into a maze of interconnected traumatic memories and you have to go through the worst memories to get out!

Great reaction! Just to clarify a bit, the reason why the new avengers aren’t being treated like the real avengers by the public is because they came out of nowhere, and are sponsored specifically by the US government. And have no original members. Bucky of course helped the original avengers and was friends with steve and Sam. But he wasn’t an “official member”. He was pardoned for his crimes as the winter soldier after endgame because he participated in the battle against thanos, but the same way Howard the Duck and random aliens who fought thanos aren’t considered avengers by the public, neither is Bucky. Whereas Sam, was an official avenger who lived at the avengers campus since the end of Age of Ultron The original avengers were started by fury but Tony funded the team privately after hydra/shield went down. So they were just a government creation While Steve is old or dead (who knows), Tony and Nat are dead too. Bruce, Thor, Sam, Rhodey, Hawkeye are still alive. While they’re not a team anymore. The public still sees them as avengers. The original 6 still has 3 living members The public in the mcu are waiting for the day the avengers return. Not a new team of unknown/lesser known heroes. Sam is recruiting to reform the original avengers. While I agree with you that the thunderbolts/new avengers are a proper team and worthy of saving the world. They’re not the true “avengers” I’m sure if the world was being attacked, Hawkeye would unretire, thor would come back, Bruce would help out too. And anyone else Sam recruits. I love this because this is how the comics operate. You have teams like the new avengers, Mighty avengers, X-men, fantasifc four, all existing at the same time This is part of why I loved the title reveal

There’s a new marvel show coming out January 27th! You won’t be caught up in time but still pretty close! I won’t say the name incase you dont wanna know. Marvel zombies is really good, it’s not that scary in my opinion. It’s animated too like what if so that might make it easier for you. After the show in January theres a movie coming out in July. Won’t tell you the name of it either to keep you spoiler free So if you finish iron heart, fantasifc four, eyes of wakanda, and marvel zombies, then the new show by July youll be caught up Just to let you know. Iron heart is onlu 6 episodes. Eyes of wakanda is short, only 4 episode that are only 30 minutes each, ssme with marvel zombies As for the fantastic four! It’d be cool if you watched the other movies but personally I only really like 1 of the 3 movies that theyve made. And a lot of people feel that way. But I’d love for you to form your own opinion. The new movie is the most comic accurate version to date

I saw First Steps a few weeks ago and don't get the hype. I thought it was thoroughly mid. I actually prefer the 2005 version.

I already told her about Wonder Man, dude. And it’s not really a spoiler. Also, First Steps and Ironheart is she really needs to watch as far as the MCU goes. Maybe Eyes of Wakanda too, but other than that she’ll be pretty much caught up.

Quick observation: a little rim/hair light on your right shoulder (screen left) would probably create a great separation. Key light color temperature looks great. I kept the title a secret because she didn’t know If you watched till the end of this video. You’d know she said she’s watching marvel zombies Eyes of wakanda is canon. Why wouldn’t she watch it: she has yet to skip any mcu project so I don’t get your attitude. She watched what if. Which is technically canon but largely irrelevant to the greater mcu. Yet she watched it. And liked it. So why are you so insistent she skip marvel zombies. I get skipping X-men 97 but marvel zombies has mcu charscters in it. So it’s tangentially just like what if. Idk if you’re a child/teenager or an old man because your every time I see you reply to someone’s comment you are being so rude and snarky. How was I supposed to know what youve already told her? I haven’t seen your comments. Smh

Looooved this film omg a total cry fest lol unfortunately comic book movies were declining in the box office. So this wasn't a huge hit. But people that did see it loved it and my friends and I were shocked with new avengers title. I wish they kept it secret originally like how we saw it. Buuuut they figured if they had avengers title during its home release more people would see it. BTW I hope when you're caught up with the mcu you'd check out xmen 97 and your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man....technically are apart of the mcu if you think about it cause of the multiverse lol that being said maybe watch fantastic four first steps first lol the other ff movies are fun and campy a bit. But up to you

Haha my dad is named Robert and goes by Rob. He always gets so annoyed when people called him Bob. If you're a boomer named Robert, everyone just assumes you go by Bob for some reason. I completely agree, Bob should be short for Bobert!

I had a feeling you'd love this movie its such a fantastic group of characters and they work so well, its definitely in my top 10 MCU movies. I did feel bad for the Taskmaster actress (Olga Kurylenko) shes a good actress, but she was given a raw deal on who they cast her as.

i would say maybe watch the original 2005 version to get an idea of the origin and characters. Its not good, but its kind of campy fun. I did like first steps quite a bit. To me, it was the first time they got the FF right in the movies, as in the right vibe, family tone, and representation of the characters.

Mrs. Jax this movie is the final movie of phase 5 of the MCU, fantastic four first steps is the next movie you must watch because that’s the start of phase 6 of the MCU which we are currently in as we speak!!! also a great watch Marvel Zombies, X-Men 97’, just wait until you find out what we have in store for 2026 of the MCU!!! It’s truly insane you will it will be mind blowing!!❤️🔥🔥

I agree with you my brother!!! Once she finishes, fantastic four first steps, she should watch eyes of Wakanda, Marvel Zombies, and X-Men’ 97 even though they’re canon to the MCU they are still awesome shows and I think she would like them. That’s my opinion. But we’re gonna let her form her opinion!!! ❤️

The other Fantastic Four movies were not that bad the only was bad was the one with miles teller in it!!! But I do agree with Fantastic Four: First Steps is amazing and she should watch that one definitely!!! 👍

Yea she has no idea what’s coming up to the MCU this year she will after watching Fantastic Four: First steps, we know what’s happening!!! She will find out what’s coming out before 2026 is over!!! And the biggest crossover movie in December!!! 😱😱😱

The way I see it the avengers can never be The Avengers if they are run by the government. We've already seen how that goes.
