Hello friends!!!

My dad's birthday went so well! He loved his dinosaur-themed decorations. We went to a great Southern restaurant that had incredible biscuits, fried pickles, and a chocolate pecan pie that came from a 100-year-old family recipe. It was delicious, and I ate waaay too much!

We also watched the new Naked Gun film together. Or should I say, we started to and then my dad fell asleep. Then we tried to watch it again later, and he fell asleep again. 😂 I'm pretty sure we eventually got through the entire movie, but I honestly don't know what parts he actually saw.

Zootopia 2 just hit Disney+, and since the first one had a shocking yet delightful twist, I can't wait to show you my reaction to the long-awaited sequel.

Wonder Man S1 has two more episodes to go. It's such a fun show and I'm sad to see that it's almost over.

Also, to finish out the Alexandre Dumas theme, I'll be watching The Count of Monte Cristo! This should be a phenomenal film. There are a couple of different versions, so I'll be watching the 2002 version.

For YouTube, I'll be posting Inglourious Basterds by Quentin Tarantino and Daredevil!

Not even a pecan pie fan, but that sounds very good! I've had similar movie watching experiences with my dad too. I remember going to the theater with him to see the director's cut of Alien and hearing snoring next to me and I turn to look and he was OUT like a light haha.

I’m very much looking forward to Count of Monte Cristo. It’s a good movie, and manages to compress a ton into a short space. Plus, spot one of the earliest roles for a current headlining hero!

Good news Jax... in a rarity for the MCU shows, Wonder Man has officially been renewed for Season 2. I'm saying rare, because Marvel Spotlight are usually more self contained, like with Echo. But planes changed and I'm glad that it got renewed, cause Wonder Man has a history with the Avengers in the comics and I would hate that to go to waste. In the comics, Wonder Man has a deep connection with Wanda and Vision.

I'm so happy your father's birthday went amazing. Mrs. Jax and Lamby will fall in love with Zootopia 2!!! Wonder-man was such a treat. it was so fun. After that's done even though it'd non canon to the mcu X-Men '97 and friendly neighborhood Spider-Man are also great shows. I'm here for it all this is a party.

Hi, if I may, as you are going on an Alexandre Dumas theme, as a french person, can I suggest you to try the very recent french versions of Monte Cristo Count or The Three Musketeers-D'Artagnan/Milady (it's in 2 parts). To me they are both very good, especially Monte Cristo.
