The whole Marco and Jackie thing reminds me of a show called Freaks and Geeks. When Sam has a crush on girl for named Cindy for a while, then they finally go out. Sam gets what he wants. But then realizes he doesn't really like her. I feel like that's the case with Marco and Jackie, sometimes you're physically attracted to someone but once you go out with them, and get to know them you realize you aren't compatible. And I am with you, I really despised Star and Marco together, its unfortunate the show decided to go into that direction.
