I love the message this ep has like this show is definitely weird and so are the characters but they used that to say that’s it’s ok to be weird because everyone is weird Also idk if it’s just me but when the planets are singing some of their colors look like they resemble some of the pride flags

Fun (or maybe unfun?) fact! The Grieving sequence is based on an actual, fairly grimdark Gumball creepypasta that is actually called The Grieving. It revolves around a lost episode of Gumball with Nicole and Richard grieving after Darwin and Anais are gruesomely murdered by an unknown man. Gumball survives but too struck with grief, he hangs himself at the end of the lost episode. Its ngl a really weird story afterward. But yeah, this was Ben referencing that creepypasta directly.

I remember reading this creepy pasta a long time ago. I was creeped out by it but also very fascinated as I am with all lost episode pastas haha. I’ve always wondered who killed them and what was written on that note whenever I read it
