There's no cannon winner, Cam and Lightning both won, when i was little i definitely remember lighting winning premiering on cable though. But at the end of the day black people won so we won as a community🙂‍↕️🤣🙂‍↕️

Cameron is my favorite winner along with Heather. No canon winners, but like Heather in WT, most fans consider Cam the "true" ending. His underdog arc felt perfectly tailored to his win. And his ending is definitely the one that the show seems to push for too. Especially considering that with the original airing of the finale in 2012, Lightning's ending was only shown in the US and the Philippines, and every other country that aired the show had Cameron's ending. For other seasons the distribution was usually a lot less lopsided than this even if one ending is shown more. Netflix also had Cam's ending when it had the show, and apparently the reruns in the US changed to Cameron winning as well. Lightning always felt more like a losing finalist than an alternate winner imo, similar to Alejandro. Even just looking at the way both of their endings were written, they won because of something random happening outside their control at the last second- Alejandro wins because Heather threw the wrong doll, Lightning because he fell on Cam. Truly I think the only reason that Lightning got an ending where he won is because they set a precedent of alternate endings with previous seasons.

If they had kept it going a little longer, Commando Zoey would've been a good way to do Cam v Zoey without making it a friendship-finale. I do like Cam v Lightning though.

I would disagree cause if she skips All-stars and Pakitew and head straight to Ridiculous Race she is going to miss some minor lore( especially Pakitew )

Next stop is All-Stars in my opinion that season is 50/50, there some good parts but the writing makes it trash for some of the characters🤷🏾‍♂️🤷🏾‍♂️

Definitely prefer Cameron’s ending, if feels like the “good” ending of show. Also yeah, Cameron’s should NOT have shared that money lol, like hello? He should’ve just shared it with Zoey and Mike and the other good characters. But Joe and Scott? Nah fuck that lol
