Dub for sure is the better choice. Also this anime is genuinely the greatest of all time and I would hype it up forever

The show from HBO that it reminds you of is called Crashbox. It also reminds me of Angela Anaconda. For the dub or sub question, I have a preference for the sub because it's what I'm used to, but it can go either way. Dub has that small perk that I could eat more as I watch but that's not a big need for me.
