Yeah, Sam was kinda just a filler character this season and the only thing the writers seemed to do with him was to have him be physically tortured in every challenge. They definitely should've brought back Anne-Maria, Brick, or Dawn instead (especially Dawn since people seemed to really like her in the previous season)

All stars should have not had filler characters shoulda had all the antagonists and protagonists of last seasons and who won the most challenges and caused the most drama, Sam did none of those things and LeShawna shoulda been in this season instead of some of these characters

You caught that thing with Duncan. Very perceptive. I am glad that Sam is gone not that he is bad but just very meh. And I do agree with some of the comments here Dawn would've been better to bring back or even Anne-Maria.

The only thing Courtney and Scott have in common is that one beat up like 4 sharks in total drama action and the other was just Fang’s chew toy😭😂

Sam is very punching bag / filler character this season. IIRC he was a late addition to the cast and was swapped in to replace Brick because the writers enjoyed writing Sam's character more.

I feel like that was a flop cause I thought the whole story with him and Dakota was a rap and I don’t think we got much with Brick sadly, like I can see minor reasons to why Sam is considered an All-Star but I see your point
