idc what yall say about twi i will stand by my girl, but also admit her wrongs but anyways yeah this was the other racist episode but i forgot what episode it was. doesnt get much worse from here other than maaaaybe the restaurant episode and the dance episode but that won't be for another few seasons

I really don’t like this episode message because it frames the settlers and “natives” as having equal blame and the victims having to resolve the issue in the episode unintentionally downplays the serious history of colonialism.

This is honestly probably one of the worst episodes for me. I don't like it when media portrays natives and colonials like this where it has to be "Oh well, how about you share!" And try to make it seem like the ponies are just in the right of the land as the buffalo. And what makes it worse is that the buffalo get the short end of the stick really, because in exchange for losing their land they get apple pies?!? Whoever wrote that episode did a bad job with its messaging. There's nothing wrong with having one side be in the wrong and the other in the right, and the message should be the ponies learning from their mistakes and being more considerate of others. And I wouldn't even be this upset about it if the buffalo and ponies here weren't so coded to be those real like stereotypes.

not a single POC was in the room when they wrote this ep 💀 I remember when I was a kid I got offended by the message of the ep (even before finding out that this was about the natives and the colonizers) also I don't like the fact that the ponies who were on the rail moving the train are mostly brown/black 👎I love the show but lord 😭

Top 3 worst episode in the show for me easily. Bridle Gossip did a WAY better job covering a serious issue than this episode did smh.
