Scarlett, Topher, and Amy would of been much better options as the main antagonist BUT the writers decided to go a different route(Sugar😑), ig they wanted to make a fresh idea of creating a more goofy kind of villain this time around where as past antagonists like Heather, Courtney, Alejandro and Scott were more serious players, like i would of rather had them written Scarlett to unleash her real self towards the end and try to explode the island in the finale💥, I would of loved to seen Topher make it to the Finale and nearly taking Chris show over to the point where Chris would of been shaking and sweating🥵, I would of loved to seen Amy pull a “Season 1 Heather” and use Sammy as a numbers advantage and even have her pick Rodney as a third member since he is so love struck and delusional towards Amy she even would use him as the muscle of the group then when they make it to the final 3 Amy wins immunity and takes Sammy over Rodney to the finale cause let’s face it she would try to force Sammy to giving her the million wether she wins or not BUT with Sammy being the focused protagonist she stands up to Amy and beats her in the finale👯‍♀️, that’s how I would of imagined them 3 as main antagonists(and to answer your question YES those were definitely MISSED OPPORTUNITIES) ✋🏾👀🤚🏾

I feel like if they held off the Scarlett elimination episode for at least one more of the other 4 getting eliminated first then it wouldve felt rewarding or complete or atleast gained closure on the whole "Evil Duo" situation.

Scarlett is my second favorite character this season (after Sugar) and while I'm not super into the fact that they made her go all cartoon villain for the sake of a one episode gag just to eliminate her, I LOVE watching her slowly becoming more and more unhinged as she's pushed closer to the edge (mostly by Max). I wish she would've stayed longer as a more under the radar villainous character.

Just like someone else said, they should’ve kept scarlet till the very end till she unleashes her true form in the finale. It would’ve given her more time to show her slowly becoming more and more evil. I know that we already got glimpses from her that she wanted to be the evil one, but I felt like it was not enough and that she just suddenly became evil this episode.
