This episode gets analyzed alot by Fans cuz most fans don't know what this episode is about, but the most common interpretation is that this id Finn going from childhood to adulthood (or at least maturing) Cause Finn does grow up more as a person after this episode

Well he didn’t do the same thing, he found the hall of egress without relying on his sight. I don’t really know what it was about (cause I don’t think anyone fully knows lmao) but my guess is that it’s something about creating your own path through the unknown and following/trusting yourself

It's one of my favorite episodes. It's very interesting hearing the different theories to this conundrum. To me, it's simply about Finn finding an exit, but not just any exit, a true exit. Having Jake waiting for him as he comes to the other side was his gateway out of the Hall of Egress.
