WHY DID ANYONE LET CORALINE GO THROUGH THAT LITTLE DOOR?! 😭

We're watching Coraline (2009), and I already knew this movie had a reputation for being creepy…but I was NOT prepared for how unsettling this was going to get.

Coraline has just moved into a new home with her parents, she's bored, she's lonely, and then she discovers a mysterious little door that leads to another version of her life.

At first, the Other World seems PERFECT.

Better food. More attention. More fun.

She even has an Other Mother and Other Father who seem to give her everything she's been missing.

There's just one tiny problem…

THE BUTTON EYES. 😭

NO THANK YOU.

The deeper Coraline goes into this world, the more we realize that all of this perfection comes with a VERY disturbing price—and the Other Mother just keeps getting more terrifying.

The animation and atmosphere in this movie are incredible, but some of these visuals?!

THIS WAS FOR CHILDREN?! 😂
