The Apothecary Diaries S1 E2 "Chilly Apothecary" | Full Reaction (Patreon)

WAIT… THEY WANT MAOMAO TO MAKE WHAT?! 😭😂

We're watching The Apothecary Diaries Season 1 Episode 2, "Chilly Apothecary!"

And apparently, Maomao's new job at the Imperial Palace is about to get VERY interesting!

After saving Lady Gyokuyou's daughter, Maomao has officially been promoted to lady-in-waiting and poison tester!

POISON TESTER?!

GIRL, THAT IS NOT THE PROMOTION I WOULD'VE ASKED FOR! 😭

But honestly, knowing Maomao and her obsession with medicine and poisons…

SHE MIGHT ACTUALLY LOVE THIS JOB!

There's just one problem.

Everybody keeps treating her like she's too fragile to do anything!

And Maomao?

SHE IS BORED OUT OF HER MIND! 😂

Meanwhile, Jinshi keeps showing up and trying to get her attention.

AND SHE IS NOT IMPRESSED!

THE WAY THIS GIRL LOOKS AT HIM?!

SIR, SHE DOES NOT CARE HOW PRETTY YOU ARE! 😭

But things finally get interesting when Jinshi gives Maomao an assignment that involves her favorite subject…

MEDICINE!

Except this time, he wants her to make…

AN APHRODISIAC?!

EXCUSE ME?!

AND SHE'S MAKING IT WITH CHOCOLATE?! 🍫

I HAVE SO MANY QUESTIONS!

Between Maomao's medical knowledge, Jinshi's constant attempts to charm her, and the ridiculous situations happening inside the palace…

I'M STARTING TO UNDERSTAND WHY EVERYBODY LOVES THIS ANIME!

And honestly, I love that Maomao isn't easily impressed by anybody's status or appearance.

She's just trying to mind her business, study her poisons, and survive palace life!

BUT JINSHI IS NOT ABOUT TO LET HER HAVE PEACE! 😂
