Adventure Time S8 E18 "Horse and Ball" | Full Reaction (Patreon)

WAIT… SOMEBODY BROKE JAMES BAXTER'S BALL?! 😭🐴

We're watching Adventure Time Season 8 Episode 18, "Horse and Ball!"

And apparently, we're getting an entire episode dedicated to one of the most RANDOM but LOVABLE characters in the Land of Ooo!

JAAAAAMES BAXTERRRR! 😂

You know, the horse who rolls around on a beach ball, says his own name, and somehow makes EVERYBODY HAPPY?!

WELL, SOMETHING TERRIBLE HAS HAPPENED!

HIS BEACH BALL HAS BEEN DESTROYED?!

EXCUSE ME?!

And now James Baxter is so devastated that he can't even do the one thing he's famous for!

MAKING PEOPLE SMILE! 😭

But don't worry, because Finn, Jake, and BMO are determined to help him get back on his feet!

And apparently, Jake and BMO are going on a mission to find him a replacement ball.

Because OBVIOUSLY the solution is another beach ball, right?!

RIGHT?! 👀

Meanwhile, Finn is trying to comfort James Baxter, and we finally get to learn more about this mysterious horse's past!

WAIT… WE'RE GETTING JAMES BAXTER LORE?!

I DID NOT SEE THAT COMING! 😂

And apparently, there's a whole story behind how he got his name and why he started making people happy in the first place.

But here's the thing…

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN THE PERSON WHO MAKES EVERYBODY ELSE HAPPY ISN'T HAPPY HIMSELF?!

OH, THIS IS GETTING DEEP! 😭

Because underneath all the ridiculous horse noises and beach ball shenanigans, this episode actually has something meaningful to say about happiness.

Sometimes you can spend so much time trying to make everybody else smile that you forget about YOURSELF.

WHY IS ADVENTURE TIME MAKING ME EMOTIONAL OVER A HORSE AND A BEACH BALL?!

Between James Baxter's backstory, Finn trying to help, Jake and BMO searching for a solution, and a surprisingly heartfelt message…

THIS EPISODE IS WAY MORE EMOTIONAL THAN I EXPECTED!
