Yeah, the ending upset me as well. Nimona was created by ND Stevenson, who is transgender and wanted to express what it's like being a transgender person in society. It was depressing, but her death was unfortunately realistic. I also didn't care for Bal and Golden Boy getting back together after all that happened. I think they should have gotten some individual therapy and went their separate ways. Loved the movie so much though

I loved this movie and was happy when it came out. Especially when Disney tried to get rid of it. Thank God netflix saved it.
