As I’ve demonstrated before a lot of my digital pencils go through a lot of iterations before I arrive at the final version. Sometimes I feel like the composition isn’t quite right, sometimes I’m just struggling with the nuance of a pose or the overall feeling, so I try to explore a bunch of options until it feels correct. Sometimes I have an idea for a panel and don’t exactly know where I will put it, so I sketch it out on the page and decide to change its position later when I have a better sense of how it fits in. All of this is visible in this video!

Are the brushes you use for your digital work ones of your own making?

Some are yes, I use the 6B pencil in Procreate and I made a few custom inking brushes also (though I don’t use them so much now, I prefer the rougher pencil brushes)
