Progress Update (Patreon)

We’ve pulled back a bit from the old style of progress updates and leaned more into entertainment, and deeper world building in our posts. The response to that shift has been incredible, so we’re going to keep pushing in that direction.

That said, we still want to keep you in the loop on what’s happening behind the scenes and what we’re actively working on.

Ren’Py Rebuild

At the start of this year, we had a small group of dedicated supporters go through a Windows version of our Android build with one simple mission: Find any image that immediately looks lower resolution.

It did not take long.

We started getting reports back quickly, and the good news is that it helped us identify exactly where the issues were. There was a point during SU’s development where SR7 changed resolutions, and that point became the hard cutoff for where the lower resolution images stopped appearing in the Android build as well.

Since then, Henshin has been working through those assets and replacing the low resolution images with high resolution versions.

We can’t give you a timeline just yet, but once that pass is complete, the last major piece will be adding the bordello content. After that, it’ll be ready to go.

Project Evo

SR7 has been spending more time writing lately, which is a very good sign.

Project Evo is easily the most complex thing we’ve ever built. Powers, choices, and branching player decisions all create a much wider range of outcomes and possibilities than anything we’ve tackled before. On top of that, the art quality is at a level beyond anything we’ve produced in the past. That combination means development takes longer, but it also means we’re building something with a lot more depth, replay value, and payoff. We know you’re excited for it, and trust us, so are we.

We want to get a game into your hands that feels worth the wait, and once you’re in, leaves you hungry for more.
