FOlks tend to find skip these "filler" episodes one rewatches, the is 1 or 2 per season. The next one is just silly hehehe cant wait

Some say the frustration is part of the point, so you can understand Sora hardships and come to understand why keimi is the kinda guy that does what he does to save the heroine even if life is just a crappy game

That does make sense, but you are taking a risk with your audience by having an episode like this. I can appreciate what it does for MC and El, but I definitely wouldn't rewatch it.

The manga took a similar risk but for a longer spread of chapters, we would of had I forth anime season, but the manga dropped in the rankings, leaving the author to have to rush the ending in 10 chapters rather than the planned 50 chapters, do to cancelation.
