Thanks Biss! This is a great movie, I don't think that most people understand how profound it is. It is a look in the mirror 🌹

There was another film around this time with a similar theme called “EdTV” which has largely been forgotten. It stars Matthew McConaughey and it was directed by Ron Howard.

Every time I look in the mirror, I don’t see anybody there. 😉

You are suffering from an acute case of 'disappearance syndrome'. The cure is simple: One tbsp of Wasabi in the morning. It works wonders! 😇

I've never seen EdTV (1999) - It'd better be good because I'm downloading it now.... you'll hear from me if it is not! 😜 So the Truman Show is from 1998 and the very same year there was another one called "Pleasantville" - you must watch it if you haven't done so yet, and then look in the mirror and tell us what you see! 😜

“Pleasantville” is a lovely movie. I think you’ll thank me later for “EdTV” after seeing Elizabeth Hurley in it. 😉 The only thing in my mirror right now is fog. LOL

Either that or I’m turning into a vampire.

I get not loving Jim's acting style but put yourself in Truman's position. He thought he was losing his mind or something beyond understanding was going on. He would be deeply agitated once he started figuring out what was going on.
