Haven't seen it myself, but based on the preview, I can see why Hacksaw Ridge might be particularly interesting to you. I've certainly heard the title enough times. Consider that one my second choice.

Well I must ask have you changed your mind regarding Tom Cruise movies? Or were you not aware that The Last Samuria stars Tom Cruise. Nonetheless, on a personal level I dont like Tom Cruise, however on a professional level there are a lot of great Tom Cruise Movies. Don't like him, love his movies. Besides, the movies are not all about him, there is production, direction, special affects and supporting cast. Whereas his personal life seems to be all about him so "F" him and enjoy his movies. I voted for IB cuz Brad Pitt at any age trumps the shit outta Tom Cruise. lol

I mean, Tom's early stuff was decent. Taps, The Outsiders, Risky Business, even Rainman and A Few Good Men were good. After that, crap IMHO. Agreed, Brad Pitt over Tommy any day.

I do not consider the Outsiders a Tom Cruise movie any more than I would Tropic thunder. Both are great movies imo but Tom is almost an extra. His screen time is so little he is not even a secondary character as far as billing he is 6 deep if not deeper in both films. The Outsiders should be on any bodies list who has not seen it. To be a Tom Cruise movie he has to be at least the co-star like in rainman with Dustin Hoffman.

The best Tom Cruise movie is the outsiders because its not really a "Tom Cruise" movie it's a movie Tom Cruise is in. Also see Tropic Thunder for the same reason.
