Not sure if you noticed it, Commodus (the prince who became emperor) is played by the same actor that played Joker. Also the dialogue where Maximus (the main actor) was on the ground by his wife and son's grave was Arabic

Great movie. As soon as I saw it was Gladiator, I knew you would love it, Definitely your type of movie. I believe Russell Crowe won a best actor award for this movie. Also was directed by Ridley Scott, who did Alien, and Kingdom of Heaven with Orlando Bloom. I give the movie a 5. Great reaction, and keep up the excellent work!

David Collins

Wonderful reaction! I give Gladiator a 4.5 but it only misses being a 5 by a tantulo. You are a treasure, Biss. We don't deserve you! I still hope you react to Schindler's List. :)

David Collins

Also, Cicero was played by Tommy Flanagan, the actor who played Morrison, who 'claimed the right of a husband' in the movie Braveheart.

Rob Schofield

Yes 4 out 5 stars. Very well done my lady. Very much enjoyed watching this one.

James Evanko

Anyone else have a hard time telling the difference between Russell Crowe and Gerard Butler? Always struggle with that.

I would give it a 5 star. I sure enjoy your takes on it - Pointing out things ive missed even watching this movie several times in the past. I would of loved to have an alternate ending like the movie, I am Legend with Will Smith. Sort of always felt robbed of the grand battle at the end with the 5000 men reclaiming the city. Now that would be a grand battle just like the very first opening scene. Great reviews Biss. I'll see you in the next one. :)

Great reaction! Even though this is an old movie, I had never seen before now either. I agree with you, solid 4 out of 5.

Alex Park

The music is done by Hans Zimmer, who reused some themes for Pirates of the Caribbean. So that’s why the music sounds familiar.

The word you were looking for Biss is 'cleft' (cleft lip). The word 'cleft' means cut in two or split etymologically. Loved the reaction!

Henkan

More "Bisstory" lessons, please! :D If you liked this one, you should consider giving Blade Runner (and the sequel!) a try, the first one was also directed by Ridley Scott!

Never had seen this before. It was really great. I really adore Russell Crowes acting. Ridley Scott is also a extremely solid director. Thanks for all the content!
