H'mm. Am I missing something here? By my reckoning The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo gets more mentions and likes than 5 of the movies which have made it onto these 2 polls yet it doesn't make it. I'm not criticizing Biss, just curious. Maybe you've watched Girl W the D Tattoo before?

IMO, the original would be a bit cumbersome with subtitles, and the Fincher one, although very true to the novel and a great story, I wouldn't suggest to any woman in my life. Too graphic/triggering.

Not to mention it's directed by Spielberg, with music by Williams. A great movie overall!

Dread a underrated movie imo. Was surprised how well done it is. And not to be confused with the Slyvester Stallone version which came out in 95.
