🥭About Chapter 2 Part C

It's going pretty well! I'm not going to give any percentages. I'm still trying to figure out the size of some scenes as I alternate between writing and rendering. Previously, I began rendering after the vast majority of the version had already been written.Things are about to get really messy in this version. Be ready for the first steps into branching. Here are two previews of the scene I'm currently rendering.

🥭About an "Extended version"

First of all, in case you're wondering. No, I am not putting Ch.2 Part C on hold. These changes are being made by my coworker under my supervision. I am the only one who can render, so when the time comes, I will render what is required, and that is all.The extended version aims to improve the overall experience by changing some scenes, adding new ones, and tweaking those that are already present. Why? You could think. Well, we sincerely want to provide the best game possible. Certain issues have been brought to our attention since the game's initial release. I believe it is time to do what we can now that we have a good opportunity:We are also working on a Chapter Report system, as mentioned in the previous devlog. This system will create a new save, so you'll need to go through the game again. (Ctrl-ing through it is okay, we don't blame you).So we can't think of a smoother way to implement these new changes to the game.

Here’s a list of the currently included changes:

New choices (Beth’s first meeting, Beth’s phone messages, Satoshi’s call, Cassandra’s house, Stella's pool)

Extension of Ch.2 Part A 

Extension of Ch.2 Part B (new small scenes)

Rework and extension of the first morning section: removed free roam, smoother transitions between each girl’s scene, new dialogue lines, and general improvements

Rework of Erika’s first meeting : a complete different approach.

Rework of MC’s inner thoughts in Ch.2 Part A.

Partial rework of Erika’s conversation in Ch.2 Part B 

General improvements to older texts 

This list may change over time. Some changes may be discarded, while others may be added.

We'll go into more detail about those extensions and reworks as we go through them.

Obviously, there is still work to be done. And this means I'm alone with Part C, but I'm used to working under pressure:)

🥭Some more tier changes

We considered implementing a voting power system. I am sure you have seen it before. We believe it is a clever idea that we had not considered until now. It should increase engagement with our polls and content while preserving the privileges of the higher tiers.
