Hey everyone!

Let’s get straight to it!

The planned release date for Chapter 3 Part A is May 15th. Here’s how the rollout will work for each tier:

♥️May 15th - Getting Hot ($22+) (Early Access, may contain bugs and is subject to revisions)

🩷May 20th - Getting Passionate ($15)

💚May 27th - Getting Romantic ($10)

💙June 3rd - Getting Flirty ($5)

Changelog will be revealed on release day in case any last-minute changes happen.

As for the post showing the rewritten text changes, that’s still pending because I haven’t had enough time to go back and rework older scenes for comparison. You can expect that post after the release of the new update!

I’ll be making another post with more previews over the next few days, but for now, here are a few! And just as a reminder once again: this version is shorter than the previous ones, and it does not contain any explicit scenes.

🥭Themes and Girls Poll Winners!

For paid members ($5+), the winning render theme from this month’s poll was: Picnic Date! The girls featured in this theme will be: Melinda ($10+) and Daphne ($5+)!

Short and straight to the point this time... there honestly isn’t much more to say! The release date is getting close!

See you soon!

Great work bro 👍

MangoWorks

That’s exactly what we want, yeah! Though before that, we’ll need to have a pretty advanced version of the game ready, since Steam no longer allows EA for adult games.

MangoWorks

Haha, thanks, Jonathan! 🧡 Your comments always make our day better too ^^ Take care and have a beautiful week!

I heard those rumors too, but that doesn’t seem to be entirely true. There are still many AVNs being released in Early Access even now. Just two weeks ago, L7team's Kiss of Sin: Rewinding Flame was released in Early Access. :)

BamBam-3886

You would need the game to reach like what? Close to the end or halfway?

PickerPatron

I thought the same thing, but it seems to be a system based on a vote of confidence. In other words, developers who have released at least one complete game or had a old game on Early Access and finished it are given the green light to continue releasing new games on EA. However, new developers without a Steam page are scrutinised more and usually don't receive the same level of confidence to release 🤔. While it's true that many games have been released on EA this past month, almost all of them are from devs with at least one previous game or grandfathered cases 🫠.

PickerPatron

Jonathan makes us believe that he doesn't have anywhere to play these kinds of games (we all know how awful it is to play them on a phone with such a small screen), but he has a console! Only rich people have consoles 😜🤣! He has to find a way to hack the machine so that he can play Ren'Py games on it 😁👍.

PickerPatron

Which text has changed? Have any scenes from chapters 1 or 2 been altered? I remember Mango being worried that he wouldn't have enough letters in the alphabet for parts of Chapter 3, so let's hope we don't get to Part Z 🤣👍! There's another volleyball match coming up 😜.

MangoWorks

Nope! There aren’t any changes to the older scenes. The major changes I have planned are being saved for much later down the line, once development is far more advanced. What I was planning on doing (and still am) is revising the dialogue in older scenes that won’t be getting any more modifications! And honestly, who wouldn’t enjoy a volleyball session with these two? 😊🧡

MangoWorks

I have no idea why I can't reply to each of you separately😅 To BamBam-3836: I’d like to get at least around halfway through the game before considering a Steam release. It’s hard to say exactly how far away that is, because realistically speaking, the chapters will probably end up being very long. To PickerPatron: Did another dev tell you that? I didn’t know Steam worked that way... 🤔Honestly, Early Access would help us a lot. I think I’ll try getting in touch with Steam support to see what options we might have, just in case they decide to show us a little mercy!

rusty

to PickerPatron I'm not really sure what Steam’s exact criteria are either. It doesn’t seem like there’s anything clearly stated publicly. Time Heals and Lust Storm were both released by developers publishing on Steam for the first time, and while they were essentially released in an Early Access state, their store pages didn’t actually have the Early Access label. Maybe the standards simply vary depending on which Steam reviewer handles the approval process.

Kevin

Well the last update was already too short idk what's shorter than that?

PickerPatron

@Mango: I've heard a few things, but it's also based on patterns observed after dozens of releases. If the reviewer likes the product, they usually allow EA. However, as you correctly pointed out, it's better to wait until you're at least 40% of the way through the product; otherwise, releases tend to be penalised heavily with low ratings. People only look at the images in the store and don't read the descriptions properly. This means that they end up playing something that seems short and incomplete to them, without understanding the context, and they give it a negative rating. @rusty: I can tell you about Time Heals because I know the game well and I own it. It was a debut title and wasn't permitted to be released on Early Access. Although the description says it is on EA, it officially isn't. The developer simply takes advantage of the system by releasing patches with new content instead of the typical bug fixes. It's one of the few cases where a game is released with limited content yet still maintains a decent score, primarily thanks to its high-quality graphics, but also because the developer has repeatedly explained the situation.

@Mango 🥭🧡 Thank you ✌🏻😁! Your posts and game make mine 👍🏻!

Jonathan Hang

@Pick I mean, there are Android Ports 😅. And thank God... I'm not that far behind on some games 😁👍🏻!

MangoWorks

The last update had almost the same number of renders as the entirety of Chapter 1 (Ch.1 has more than 1600 renders). It also included two fully skippable scenes that you maybe didn’t play through. I wouldn’t recommend the upcoming updates in your case, because those are going to be genuinely short.

MangoWorks

Thanks for all the input. We actually ruled out a Steam release for the time being a while ago because of the lack of Early Access support. I think the best thing we can do now is ask directly and clear up any doubts. To PickerPatron: Early Access works as a form of exposure because it basically gives you two separate launches with two separate waves of visibility: the initial EA launch, and then the full release once the game leaves Early Access. Without that option, you only get the visibility of a normal or “full” launch, even if the game is still actively in development. And since EA games usually receive more lenient criticism from players, I always saw that situation as pretty counterproductive... Of course, a lot of developers won’t really have a choice and will just have to release the game anyway, like in the case you mentioned. But honestly, it would’ve been much more beneficial for them if Early Access had been an option. Like I said, I’ll try to get a proper answer from Steam support.
