Hey, thanks for answering my question. One Piece is my favorite anime, but I wouldn't recommend it for someone new to the genre. It's *very* long. I would also say it's not kid-appropriate if they're young. I don't have kids, so idk. Dan Da Dan is very popular right now and super weird. Maybe it'd be up your alley?

This is fun. I wouldn't watch One Piece lol, it'll literally take you over a year and its stilllll runninggg. Highly recommend Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood, tho I don't think you should watch it with kids under like 13-14.

I have watched some ghibli! Marissa’s a huge fan (as are the kids). She was just telling me how Miyazaki rejects the term “anime” which is why I didn’t mention them as an exception. But I guess there’d be considered anime by most everybody else?
