Our winning picks from “a day at the zoo 2”: a 3 way tie! Someone flirting with a dolphin and their partner standing by angry but resigned, Penguins realizing one of them is just a goose in a tuxedo, and Ducks feeding a child bread

So now, suggest in the comments below what you think should be happening in the spot labeled above. It can be as much or as little as you want, it can feature guests, animals, additional scenery, whatever.

Then I’ll pick some of my favorite comments along with the top comments (based on likes), and will have members of the Interactive Comics tier vote on which one of those suggestions should be picked and officially added to the illustration.

And we’re gonna keep doing this until the whole ass picture is jam ass full (of ass). Make sense? Still no?? OK LETS GO

Peter Banting

That’s the house of monkey presidents.

J.R. Murdock

Monkeys atop the building throwing excrement at passersby who are catching the offerings with their hats.

Anthony Biondo

a panda is nailing a list of grievances to the front door, flanked by security guards trying to remove it, and targeted by snipers with tranq guns

Steve C-B

A monkey in a stolen zookeepers outfit arresting the now nearly naked zookeeper

Stefan Carlsson

The sign showing the name of the zoo of course. Someone else has to figure out what close-to-a-real-name-but-not-quite would fit though.

SuperNar3k

A photoshoot with the mayor (who is a monkey), who is about to cut the ribbon for the grand opening of the zoo

Paul Koepke

Someone trying to Jiu-Jitsu a boa constrictor and the boa constrictor is clearly incredibly bored, and possibly doing something more interesting with its tail such as painting a watercolor of a gas station.

Matt Breen

A monkey dressed as Abraham Lincoln, and a donkey dressed as George Washington, with the monkey house sign crossed off and scribbled "hall of presidents" written in.

Chris Knutson

I was thinking the Reptile House of Pancakes. That's as far as I got.

Doctor Islands

Text on the door reading "DONT DEAD OPEN INSIDE" in the most confusing order possible.

Kevin Zielnicki

It's barricaded shut, and a kid with a crayon has just scrawled "Don't Dad Open Inside" across the door

Jacob McCloud

Full on monkey bank heist. All wearing dead president masks, toting sacks of bananas.

Waboodoo

A grizzly murder scene, being investigated by grizzly bear detectives

SR

A komodo dragon wedding

Erich

Ok everyone, stop suggesting things. This is the one.

Robin Langford

A man in a panda costume on a cigarette break

mm

Undercover goose in with a group of visitors (the rest of the group none the wiser)

Jacob Sabin

What new* zoo is complete without a ribbon cutting ceremony! Two officials use swordfish as scissors to cut the ribbon. I think it would be hilarious to have NO audience for it, but if you want to include some people, they should be distracted by some nearby mundane incident. Like ants "escaping" from an exhibit.

Jacob Sabin

Just varying upper case & lower case, maybe different colors of spray paint. Maybe one of the letters crossed out because someone made a typo.

Mark Smith

I'm a big fan of continuing the undercover goose gag.

Daniel Gore

Don't Animal Open Inside

Karen Farrell

Sign for the Herpestarium with a vending machine outside featuring a picture of a snake in a condom

Stephen Rigg

Yes, please continue my penguin-themed buffoonery.

Jim Huxter

A panda in a man costume on a bamboo break

rumi

The door has a sign that says “PUSH TO OPEN” — a tour guide is fervently trying to pull the door open — the group of tourists/visitors are just behind watching him, kids are crying, dads are furious, diapers are being pooped in, moms are sweating, little girls are playing jump rope with their child-leashes — also somebody’s dog is watching a monkey flip it off in the window

Pete

But are they really geese, or ducks in goose masks?

Scott Standridge

That's gotta be the reptile house. Jailbreak of snakes and lizards

Pete

With tentacles pushing through the door cracks, and maybe a couple zombies holding the door closed

Daniel Gore

Ohhh the zombies holding the door shut is a good touch

Pete

Dad looking out through the window, saying "Coral?"

Pete

Pancake House of Reptiles? House of Reptile Pancakes? House of Pancake Reptiles?

Eric Larson

A gorilla in a tux serving as a bouncer with one of those red ropes. Some sexy looking ostriches are let in while fat dog is angry he's still in line.

Eric Larson

PS this is a great idea and I'd definitely buy a print when it's done

Get Familiar With

Class field trip lined up to go inside, being picked off one after another by the lion.

Landon

Otter heist crew escaping on the roof

Waldo viciously attacking a guy who's dressed like him with a pile of unconscious people in striped clothes littering the stairs

MB

An ostrich aggressively kicking the door open

Cody

Harambes revenge

CerialPhreak

HueStL

Maybe I get a kick out of jokes for middle schoolers, but the sign on the reptile building should say "Herps House".

1(one) Andrei Filip

A goose Batman hanging from the roof in the classic Batman pose, staring intently through nightvision binoculars at the grassy enclosure across the zoo (reasons for stakeout will be revealed when we get there)

Steve Hehe

A Graffiti saying "Scar was right"

Fílos

A tour guide about to lead a group of children into the aviary building but the children are cats disguised as children and their teacher, making flirty eyes at the tour guide with a t-shirt that says “man eater”, is three cats standing on another (or a lioness) disguised as a teacher

Gosir

Raccoons pulling of a heist on the restaurant

Paddy Cole

Gazelles, turtles and monkeys being chased out of the gift shop, all of whom are carrying plushies of lions, cheetahs and tigers in their mouths.

Jake Wendt

A school house rock style bill sitting on the steps trying to stop paramedics from helping an elderly person clutching their chest. The bill should be quite obese and ugly.

thisGoesNowhere

A moustached spider trying and failing to hit on a large glass of milk.

Adam Povey

Add a clock with a orangutan dressed as Doc Brown hanging from one hand. Monkey Marty looks on on top of the concession stand, concerned.

ParadoxPerson02

With wires/cables connected to it running down to another structure

Vand

On the roof we see a bunch of burglars preparing for a heist through a skylight. One of the front windows is see through and we see a burglar being lowered by a rope. The burglars and skylight are all fenced in-together and there is a sign nearby that reads “Burglars in their Natural Habitat”

Aalexander Knight

Convention for politicians of the political party the viewer dislikes
