Ok, first, excellent Halbard that the founder is holding in his portrait. Second, I guess gnomes think regular old spears are ok instead of Halbard or other pole arms when dealing with a cat. One should, at minimum, use a Poleaxe or Morningstar when "dancing with lady hiss".
