Princess Peach had looked forward to some quality time with Rosalina, another princess and long-lost sister. A tea party between princesses in her rebuilt castle, with the finest pastries fresh out of the oven. Everything had to be perfect for this moment.

Naturally the Toads assisted with the preparations. Mario and Luigi were sent away to ensure any potential troublemakers wouldn’t get any ideas. Nothing would spoil this moment.

When Rosalina finally arrived, Peach couldn’t contain her excitement as she hugged her. Their respective subjects getting the hint that the two wanted privacy. The reunited sisters had a lot to catch up with. What they’ve been up to, their hobbies, the subjects of their respective realms, that sort of stuff.

They held each other’s arms for comfort, for assurance that they were there for each other this time. They paused for a moment, recalling how they covered a planet with vegetative life and how it freed Rosalina from Bowser’s containment. Naturally they got curious if other forms of contact could achieve a similar effect.

They jumped straight into experimenting, the hug from before didn’t seem to do anything. Perhaps other forms of contact? Their quiet brainstorm was interrupted by Peach’s incessant tapping of her foot. It just occurred to them, what if they can use their feet?

Without the worry of any unwanted watchers, the princesses shed their heels and couldn’t help but compare each other’s sizes and polish, both having picked a shade of pink. A fact that elicited a giggle from Peach, having expected a blueish color from Rosalina.

Though her giggling was just as likely caused by Peach pressing her feet against her sister’s larger soles. No reaction though but this foot-on-foot contact felt lovely. The two princesses will have to do this more often whenever they meet up in the future.
