Good day everyone,

My new work keep giving me a bunch of project one after another. Not to mention I also need to learn Japanese for this new work. And as you all know, Japanese is not the easiest language to learn (actually it’s one of the hardest). I’ve learned Chinese before, Although these two languages may looked the same for some people, but trust me my friend … Japanese is on the whole different level of difficulty.

I’m working Translator++ and RMMV Toybox on my free time, and since my free time is getting rarer and rarer … it’s getting more difficult to deliver a quick improvement to the software.

But despite all the problems, … no one can stop me for developing this program…because, just like certain hero said: “This is my serious hobby”

Translator++ Ver. 1.6.17

What's new in Translator++ Ver 1.6.17 :

  • Overhaul on export and import feature.

  • Adding capability to import from CSV, XLSX, ODS, HTML

  • Adding capability to export into XLSX, ODS, HTML

  • Adding context menu to import/export into left panel.

  • Fixing Google Translate public API key.

  • Fixing error handling when trying to open non existing file.

  • And more.

The new version of Translator++ has the capability to export and import translation from major spreadsheet formats like Microsoft’s XLS & XLSX, Open Office ODS, not to mention the wide usability CSV and HTML.

Ah, and also, the problem on google translate has been fixed. So you can now use google & redgoogle plugin again.

Cant seem to get this to work on one of my games. Warning: mb_detect_encoding(): Illegal argument in D:\Downloads\Translator++\www\php\function\trans.php on line 12 Don't know much about coding but that looked weird is it something i can fix?

google is working for me. google clouds show error 403. any updates for BING and Atlas? There is no response from them. thanks for the update

I've checked, both Google Cloud and BING is fine for me. Perhaps you need to restart your application.

thanks for reply. tried to restart again. BING: after collecting data done, just stuck in 0%. Google cloud show error when translating data! HTTP Status: error 403: the request is missing a valid API key. Error type: 403 You are probably temporarily baned by your translation service! Please use online translation service in moderation

Google Cloud is paid version of google. Please set-up your API key in the option.

Thank you very much for the quick solution to the error 404, I will not use all the new functions but it is very grateful that you do not miss this project. I love indie RPGs and being able to have it in my language is the best thing.

Hi I stumbled upon your program and have been using the public 1.3.6 version to translate some games and it works to an extend. But I have ran into some odd issues that i can translate certain RPG MAKER MV games and can export them with success but some MV games I get an error when exporting it says "file not found", It is strange that i can translate and export one MV game no problem but another MV game I cannot export to folder without the error "file not found". Is this have to do something with certain RPG game settings that allow some to be exported with relatively no problem and some games have to tinker with the settings before I can export with no error?

I'm having an issue with the wrap text feature. I can't quite seem to pinpoint what the exact issue is as it works for some scripts while others it just infintely stays on the "working" status. The only thing I Can do to recreate the result of it getting stuck on "working" is to batch wrap a large amount of scripts at once, other than it just seems to randomly work on some scripts and not others.

The translation actually worked for a view days. But now i always get a 405 error. is says illegal method. any way to fix this?

I'm having an issue with an (older) WolfRPG game. TT++ Runs fine, copies the data.wolf, runs DXextract, and extracts it fine. (I've ran my copy of DXextract and verified the size/file amount) It copies files into it's own temp directory, fails to find data/common (Because there is none) Then says DONE! and proceeds to sit on 'loading'. I've let it sit, because the game is fairly large (1.7 gigs) but it doesn't seem to be doing anything, and is only using about 1-2% CPU. For reference here's the last few lines: CopyTree by. Will there be an automatic counting function for all messages? And do you plan to add to the program the boundaries specified in RPGMaker?
