Y/N awoke to find herself alone in the bed, the warmth of Harry's presence now replaced by a lingering sensation on her neck. Bringing her hand up, her fingertips brushed against the mark he had left there. A jolt of tingling warmth radiated from the spot, sending shivers down her spine and confirming that it wasn't just a figment of her imagination.

With a mix of anticipation and curiosity, she hurried to the bathroom, the cool tiles beneath her feet contrasting with the warmth spreading through her body. Standing before the mirror, she gently traced her fingers over the mark, feeling the slightly raised skin beneath her touch.

It was different than she had expected. The mark was still fresh, a faint blush of pink surrounding the intricate pattern that Harry had left on her skin. But despite its newness, her body had already begun to heal around it, the skin smooth and almost seamless against her touch.

Y/N felt a shift within herself, a subtle yet undeniable change that left her feeling unsettled. She couldn't quite pinpoint what it was, but the sensation lingered beneath her skin, a whisper of something new and unfamiliar.

Nervously, she cracked open the bedroom door and peered down the hall. She realized then that she was scarcely dressed, the realization making her cheeks flush with embarrassment. With quick steps, Y/N hurried across the hall and slipped into her bedroom, closing the door behind her with a soft click.

Meanwhile, in the living room of the pack house, Harry walked in to find an unexpected sight. "What are you two doing here?" His voice held a mix of surprise and delight as he greeted his parents. He had been roused from sleep through the mind link, duty calling him away even as his heart longed to stay with Y/N.

"We can't come visit our son?" Anne's voice was warm as she enveloped Harry in a tight embrace, her arms wrapping around his big frame. "We missed you dearly."

Harry returned the embrace, kissing his mother's head affectionately before turning to his father, who pulled him into a firm hug. "How was the Caribbean?" he asked, a grin playing on his lips.

"Too sunny and sandy. It was downright infuriating," Robin replied with a chuckle, his eyes twinkling with humor as he hugged his only son.

"It was the beach, after all. What were you waiting for?" Harry chuckled as he made his way to the kitchen, his stomach growling in anticipation of breakfast. "Are you both hungry? Have you had a chance to eat?"

"Well," Anne began with a mischievous glint in her eyes, exchanging a knowing look with Robin.

"What?" Harry asked, returning with a piece of bacon dangling from his mouth and a steaming cup of coffee in hand.

"Anne, I warned you this might not be the best idea," Robin interjected, shooting a cautious glance at his son.

"But we have every right!" Anne countered, her excitement bubbling over as she turned back to Harry.

"What are you two scheming now?" Harry inquired, a curious grin tugging at his lips. "Come on, spill it."

"A little birdie told your mother that you've found your mate," Robin revealed with a roll of his eyes, earning a gasp of excitement from Anne. "So, your mom here wants to take you both out for breakfast."

"I want to meet her," Anne exclaimed eagerly, her eyes bright with anticipation. "I promise to behave. Plus, how come we had to find out through Niall that you found your mate?"

"fuckin’ Niall," Harry groaned, rubbing the back of his head in mild frustration. "I was waiting for both of you to return from vacation. She's still asleep, though, so I can't promise anything."

"Harry, there are things the four of us need to discuss," Anne said with a more serious tone, her expression turning thoughtful as she looked at her son.

"She's sleeping. What do you want me to do?" Harry asked, a softness in his voice as he spoke of her rest. If she were human, it would take days and a lot of energy to fully recover from the marking.

"You smell different," Anne noted, her eyes narrowing with curiosity. "You marked her already?"

"Anne!" Robin interjected sharply, sharing an incredulous look with his son.

"It's a private matter," Harry replied, a hint of defensiveness in his tone. He was keen on keeping the details of their relationship to themselves. "Listen, I can check, but I can't promise anything."

"Fine," Anne acquiesced with a smile, taking a seat.

Harry quietly made his way to their bedroom, his steps hesitant as he approached the door. To his surprise, the bed was empty.

"Pup?" Harry called out, knocking lightly before peeking into the room.

"In the bathroom!" Y/N's voice floated out to him, filled with a hint of cheerfulness.

"Ah, there you are," Harry smiled warmly as he entered, his eyes immediately drawn to her. He brushed her hair off her shoulder, revealing the mark on her neck. Leaning in, he pressed a gentle kiss to her cheek, then her shoulder, his gaze lingering on the mark.

"I don't enjoy waking up to an empty bed," Y/N mumbled, her voice laced with affection. Harry smiled and kissed her mark instantly making her knees go week.

"Ah, won't happen again," Harry assured her with a smile, reveling in the scent of her now intertwined with his own. They were almost one, and the feeling was exhilarating. "You look good and smell good," he added, his lips brushing against the sensitive skin of her neck as he nuzzled closer. His beard was prickly, tickling her softly.

"Stop," Y/N giggled, her eyes sparkling as she finished applying powder and blush. "What have you been doing?" she asked, turning to face him.

"Nothin'," Harry replied with a mischievous grin, his hands moving to wrap around her waist. "Just waiting for you to wake up." With a swift movement, he lifted her effortlessly, placing her on the counter. The sudden change in height brought them closer, and the air between them crackled with electricity.

Sparks of desire ignited within him, his wolf urging him to claim her. But Harry held back, knowing he needed to give her the space to decide. His hands rested gently on her hips, his gaze locked with hers, a silent question lingering in the air.

Their eyes locked in a silent dance of desire and anticipation. Y/N could feel the heat radiating from Harry's body, his scent enveloping her in a heady embrace. She traced her fingers along the contours of his face, feeling the rough stubble beneath her touch.

With a primal need driving him, Harry closed the distance between them, capturing her lips in a fierce, passionate kiss. Their bodies pressed together, the heat between them igniting into a blazing inferno of desire.

The mark on her neck burned brightly, a symbol of their connection and the beginning of their bond. And as they lost themselves in each other, the world outside faded away, leaving only the two of them, united as one.

Her fingers traced the contours of his muscles, feeling the warmth of his skin beneath her touch. Harry's hand tangled in her hair, gently pulling her closer as his lips hungrily met hers.

The kiss was electric, sending shivers down her spine as their bodies pressed together in a feverish embrace. Y/N moaned softly against his lips, the sound muffled by the intensity of their kiss.

Harry's touch was both tender and possessive, his hands roaming over her body with a hunger that ignited a fire within her. She arched into him, craving more of his touch, more of him.

With a primal need driving them both, their desire consumed them, the heat between them reaching a fever pitch. Harry's lips trailed a path of fire along her jawline, down her neck, and to the mark he had left on her skin.

Y/N gasped as his lips brushed against the sensitive spot, sending sparks of pleasure shooting through her body. She clung to him, her nails digging into his back as she surrendered herself to the intoxicating passion that consumed them both.

"Fuck," Harry growled, his voice rough with desire as he abruptly pulled away from her, feeling his wolf surge to the surface from the overwhelming emotions.

"What happened? Did I do something wrong?" Y/N asked nervously, her eyes wide with concern. Harry pressed his hands against the wall, the coldness soothing against his heated skin. He turned to look at her, his gaze dark and intense.

"It's not your fault, pup," he rasped, his voice husky with need. "If we keep going... I won't be able to hold back." His eyes burned with a primal hunger, a fierce desire that threatened to consume them both.

Y/N felt her heart race at his words, the raw intensity in his gaze sending a thrill of excitement through her. She knew the power they held over each other, the undeniable connection that bound them together.

"Harry," she whispered, her voice filled with longing as she reached out to touch him. "I want you... all of you."

Harry's smile was tender as he walked back to her, his eyes filled with a mixture of desire and regret. He leaned down to press a gentle kiss to her lips, his touch soft and fleeting. Then, he took both of her hands in his, bringing them to his lips as he kissed them tenderly.

"I want you too, pup," he murmured, his voice husky with longing. “Trust me. I really want you. You have no idea how hard this is” He swallowed "But we can't right now." Y/N frowned, a pang of embarrassment washing over her. She had been rejected twice now, and she couldn't understand his sudden change in mood.

"My parents are downstairs," Harry continued, his thumb brushing over the back of her hand in a soothing gesture. "They want to take us out."

Downstairs, Harry's parents were still patiently waiting for them. The majority of the pack was off in training, leaving the pack house unusually quiet.

"Do you think they're ever going to come down?" Anne whispered to Robin, who was flipping through the television channels.

"Honey, they've just found each other," Robin replied with a chuckle, glancing over at his wife. "They're young and in love. Let them have their time."

Anne sighed, leaning back against the couch cushions. "I know, I know," she said, a smile tugging at her lips. "It's just that I'm so excited to meet her. I want to make sure she's good and feels comfortable. I know how overwhelming everything becomes”.

Robin chuckled, wrapping an arm around his wife's shoulders. "I'm sure she's good," he reassured her. "Harry's a lucky man to have finally found her”.

Just then, the sound of footsteps coming down the stairs caught their attention. Harry and Y/N appeared in the doorway, hand in hand, their smiles bright and their eyes sparkling with happiness.

"Sorry for the wait," Harry said with a sheepish grin as they approached. "We got a little distracted."

Anne's eyes widened in understanding, and she grinned knowingly at her son. "Oh, I see," she said, winking at Y/N. “I am Anne and this is my husband Robin”

“Y/N. It’s so nice to finally meet you” Y/N could finally understand where Harry’s eyes came from. He looked just his mom. Anne smiled at her, "Well, come on then, you two. Let's go get some breakfast. I am starving”

Robin drove them to a very special place, a quaint little restaurant tucked away in a cozy corner of town. It held a special significance for Robin and Anne—it was the same place where they had their first date, where their love story had begun.

As they pulled up to the restaurant, Harry's eyes lit up with recognition. He smiled, a warm feeling of nostalgia washing over him.

"Am I dressed appropriately?" Y/N whispered to Harry as he helped her out of the car.

"You look stunning," Harry replied, his eyes filled with admiration as he took in her appearance. "It's just breakfast, and it’s just my parents”

He leaned in and pressed a gentle kiss to her cheek, the warmth of his lips sending a shiver down her spine. With a smile, he shut the car door behind them, feeling excited for the breakfast ahead.

They were seated on a table under the big willow tree that had grown in the middle of the restaurant.

“This place is special," Robin said, pulling a chair for Anne. "It's where Anne and I had our first date.”

Anne smiled, her eyes sparkling with fond memories. "We always dreamed of bringing Harry and his mate here one day," she added, looking at Harry with a hint of mischief.

Harry grinned, feeling a rush of happiness at the thought.

"So, how do you like it here?" Anne began her gentle interrogation after they all ordered their drinks.

"I love it," Y/N replied with a warm smile. "I still have so much to learn, but I'm trying my best." Anne nodded in understanding, sensing the sincerity in Y/N's words. She could tell that she had a good heart.

"Sometimes it can be overwhelming, I'm sure," Anne commented sympathetically. "But you're doing great. Managing it all."

Y/N nodded, grateful for Anne's understanding. "It's definitely a lot to take in sometimes, but I'm learning to manage."

"I understand completely," Anne said, a reminiscent smile on her lips. "When I first became mated to Robin here, I tried to escape a few times," she confessed, a hint of mischief in her eyes. "I wasn't ready for all the responsibilities of being Luna. I wanted to go to college, travel the world...be free."

Y/N nodded, listening intently to Anne's words.

"However, the bond is incredibly strong," Anne continued, her gaze thoughtful. "It's easy to underestimate its power. As the days go by, it only grows stronger until neither of you can bear to be apart."

"It's like an invisible thread that ties you together," Anne explained, her eyes softening with memories. "You'll feel each other's emotions, sense each other's presence even when you're apart. And when you're together, it's like the world fades away and it's just the two of you."

Harry watched Y/N closely, his heart swelling with affection. He reached for her hand under the table, intertwining their fingers. The warmth of her touch grounded him, reassuring him that she was right there with him.

“It’s not all gold and glitter” Robin chimed in, a fond smile on his face. "But it's also a responsibility. You'll have the pack to lead, decisions to make together. And you'll have to learn to navigate the intricacies of the wolf world."

Y/N nodded, her mind racing with all the possibilities and challenges ahead. But in that moment, sitting in the cozy restaurant with Harry's hand in hers and his parents' supportive presence, she felt a surge of confidence.

"We'll figure it out together," Harry said, his voice filled with determination.

"Of course you will," Anne said, beaming at them both. "And you'll have the whole pack behind you, ready to support you every step of the way. Now tell me when will we meet your parents?”

The smiles that had adorned their faces vanished in an instant, replaced by a somber air. Harry's hand instinctively moved to Y/N's back, a silent gesture of comfort and support.

"Mom," Harry's voice was gentle, his eyes filled with understanding as he looked at Y/N. "Y/N's mom passed away when she was younger, and her relationship with her father... it's complicated."

Anne's expression immediately softened, her features mirroring her regret for her unintentionally insensitive question. She placed a hand over her heart, her eyes conveying her heartfelt apology.

“I am so sorry, Y/N. I had no idea” Y/N nodded and gave her a small smile.

The rest of the meal passed in a blur of laughter and stories. Y/N felt like she was already part of the family, welcomed with open arms into this world that was so new and yet felt so right.

As they left the restaurant, the sun was shining bright overhead, casting a warm glow over everything. Harry held Y/N's hand tightly, his gaze filled with love and promise.
