Harry was profoundly infatuated with her. He liked everything about her. He was fascinated by all her actions like how she fiddled with the pendant of her neck when she was analyzing or how she would stick the tip of her tongue out when she was carefully doing something.
Therefore, he wasn’t bothered when Ganesh scrawled him when he arrived, nor he cared that he had to stay up later than usual to finish the work for the next day. It was all worth it since he had gotten time with her.
“Do you understand where I am coming from?” Ganesh stressed as he paced around the door room. He had stayed up just to tell him off.
“Yeah,” He honestly had no excuse. He had gotten so distracted with Y/N that he had forgotten about all the work that he had to catch up on. “Sorry,” he only just wanted to get him off his back. Harry was just interested in texting Y/N and letting her know what a wonderful time he had spent with her. He also just wanted some time on his own to process everything and digest it all.
“How was it?” Ganesh asked after pinching the bridge of his nose.
“Good” He was a fan of sharing too much information about his private life.
“That’s nice maybe we should go out for a coffee with her some time” Ganesh was a man who had been raised by parents extremely strict. They had raised him to be the greatest. His parents only demanded perfection. Therefore, he didn’t understand his roommate's obsession with the girl. Ganesh could tell that Harry had a very promising future. Unfortunately, Y/N was a distraction for him.
“I’ll let her know” Harry nodded as he turned on his laptop and settled on the desk. He checked his phone as soon as he noticed that Ganesh had gotten into bed. S
he let him know that she was home and safe and that it had taken her a long time to answer because she had taken a bath. She fell asleep before he finished his work, holding her phone in the middle of sending a text. Even after she reassured Harry that she wasn’t tired or sleepy.
Harry couldn’t blame her. It had been a long day. He was also tired, but his thoughts about her kept him entertained. He would never be able to forget the way she looked at him while she had him in her mouth or the way she moaned with him still in it. It drove him crazy. In the middle of organic chemistry homework, his pants were, once again, painful tight. Harry pulled around the crotch area, but it was impossible for him to get comfortable. So, after much complaining, he takes the decision to take a cold shower.
The water cooled him down and it wasn’t anything near relaxing, especially since the temperature outside was almost below zero. It was just soothing. He shut the water off after he has calmed down and it’s just in time to hear his phone ring.
“Where have you been?!” Mitch yelled loudly at his friend. He had been surprised when he had not seen him in class.
“With Y/N” he answered truthfully as he took some clean clothes out of his drawer. He was drained and just wanted to end the call. Although he couldn’t do so, Mitch was his closest friend. However, Harry was very tired and needed much-needed sleep and had an entire day of class the next day.
“How was that?” Mitch asked with curiosity, he could still not believe that his quirky and introverted friend was hanging out with one of the most desirable girls in college.
“I’ll tell you all about it tomorrow” Harry exhaled, as he got into bed and turned off the lights. “I am exhausted” he confessed.
“Deal” Harry hung up and cuddled up to his pillows and blankets.

People were chatting loudly and the sound of the clinking of the utensils against the plates made the atmosphere more chaotic. Harry was the first to sit down at their usual spot and start eating. He was eating carbonara pasta with some bread that wasn’t as bad as he expected it. He just hoped his stomach didn’t disagree later.
“I just had the worst class ever” Sarah exhaled as she sat down on the table. “What are you reading?” noticing that Harry was reading some printed copies.
“An article about a new medicine that the FDA is trying out. It’s for my research class.”
“For next week? You are really getting ahead.”
“It was for yesterday. Have to send my thoughts to the professor via email” He had written to everyone letting them know that he had a family emergency and since Harry was such a good student, all professors gave him an extra day.
“You didn’t go to class? Where were you?” She asked as she stuffed her face with her favorite salad.
“With Y/N. We went out.”
“Where?”
“North Shore. To a Drive-in”
“That’s cute” Sarah smiled and looked over his shoulder and spotted Mitch making his way to the table with a big tray filled with all types of food. “Did you tell her how you feel towards her?” She asked just as Mitch sat down on the table. “She is not going to wait around”.
“It’s already official” He casually said as he notated the corners of the article. Just as they were speaking about her, he received a text from her.
I’ve got a test to study. Want to meet me at the library after lunch?
I’ll see you in a few hours.
“Who are you texting and why are you so smiley?” Vanessa had been Y/N’s closest friend since freshman year. They had met during pre-season. They weren’t as close as other friends, but Y/N felt like she could genuinely trust her, not like the other girls that she had met.
“Harry” She responded trying not to blush in the middle of class.
“When am I going to get the chance to meet him?” Vanessa had heard from other people that her friend had started seeing a man from campus. “I hate this fucking class” she mumbled as she typed something quickly on her laptop that the professor had just said.
“Are you going to the party?” Y/N whispered back, as she tried to keep up with her notes.
“Of course. Is he going?”
“I think so. I’ll introduce you to him then.” Vanessa nodded back as they quiet down and turned their attention back to the class.
Y/N waved goodbye to Vanessa and the other girls as class was dismissed. She was excited to meet Harry and spend some time with him, even if they didn’t speak. She just wanted to be close to him. So, she headed towards the library, but not before stopping at the coffee shop and picking up two lattes and something to eat.
Y/N had some homework from her history class that she needed to do some tedious work for and needed to prepare for a test that was creeping up.
“What do you want?” She asked him after she had settled down on one of the tables closest to the door. Her laptop was out and so was her planner where she kept a highly organized schedule of everything. She had started reading over her history assignment when Brian had rudely interrupted her. Y/N stared and remained glued to the screen in front of her. She didn’t even bother to look at him ever since that night.
“Came to do homework. Just like you” He pulled a chair out and sat down. “What is with the animosity?” Brian played college football and he was an exceptionally good athlete. The people worshiped the ground he walked on especially this season after he had come so close to winning a championship for the university. And with great popularity came a big ego that prevent anyone from getting close to him. In fact, in the beginning, it was what made Y/N gravitate toward him. She liked his boldness and confidence until that night when she saw his ugly side.
“I don’t know what you are talking about” She played dumb, trying her best not to feel intimidated by him. “I am just doing work”. His hand came down hard on her laptop, shutting it in the process.
“We need to talk. Hear me out” he hissed, feeling his patience running short.
Brian Hill was a man that always got what he wanted, and he was willing to go to great lengths. And he wanted Y/N back.
