November Painting Contest 2026 - Announcement! (Patreon)

Hey everyone! Hope you're doing well! I have exciting news and have been preparing this for you all for the last few weeks!

Finally, our first painting contest is here and I'm super excited to see what you'll create!

If you aren't on Discord or don't use it but still want to participate, you can send me your WIPs and final submissions through Google Drive or any other cloud service via Patreon DMs and I'll post them for you!The contest will begin in November, but I'm letting you all know this early because I want you to have plenty of time to prepare yourselves and plan what you're going to do! ~

Printing and sanding are allowed before the contest starts!‼️ All models will have a 50% discount code to use, even the Irasshai Exclusives! This discount code will be available 1 week before the contest starts.‼️

All participants will get a special role in my Discord server and I'll send out a reminder a week before the contest starts. 🙏🏻

➡️ The Discord channels for the WIPs and final submissions will open under the 'Painting Contest 2026' category next week! While they'll be open for everyone to see, only Patrons can actually post in them, so I encourage you all to check them out once they're ready and read my pinned messages before creating your threads.

Please note that these channels are to be used ONLY for the contest and only once it officially starts. Any WIP pics unrelated to the contest (or posted too early) will be deleted. This helps us keep the space clean and organized, especially since we already have a regular WIP/completed models channel for all the other amazing work you guys do! ⬅️

🥇 1st Place: Pick a character to be made in December + 3 months of the Irasshai tier for free! (Note: The character choice is subject to my approval via DM).

🥈 2nd Place: 2 free months of your current tier

🥉 3rd Place: 1 free month of your current tier

🏅 4th & 5th Places: One free model of your choice from any past release

📝 OFFICIAL RULES 📝

You must be an active member on Patreon in November 2026.

Limit of one entry per person.

Only Ukupalua models are allowed (from all of the catalog!)

Painting must begin in November 2026 (prior painting work is not eligible).

Post 1 to 2 WIP pictures and at least 4 final photos to the Discord contest channel. Videos are optional extras!

Strictly no AI enhancement or digital photo manipulation.

Winners are chosen based on the paint job itself. Good presentation is always welcome, but the painting comes first!

Digital or physical modifications to the model and/or base are allowed, but they will serve as tie-breakers. Not everyone knows how to add VFX, wires or LEDs so keeping the main focus on the paint job ensures the contest remains friendly and no one feels left out.

Note that any modifications are allowed unless they alter the character itself to the point it's not my sculpting anymore and just a custom work of yours, so modifications to the sculpting itself is not allowed.

If any specific situation comes up that isn't covered by these rules, we will look into it separately and discuss it directly with the participant. However, my best advice is: if you are in doubt about anything, please ask me first!
