Rennon the Shaved

I personally prefer an American Werewolf as a movie more for its dark comedy and its characters, but The Howling is a better werewolf film overall. The monster designs are top notch, the slow burn pace and build up of dread are well executed, and the fact that most of the movie takes place at a weird colony out in the woods just adds to its creepy factor. Plus it has 80s Dick Miller in it, so that's a win right there.
