I got together with Derek from Alien Theory to discuss the Alien 3 that almost was. Its very weird take on the Alien series and elements from this would end up in later instalments.

It's always cool to go back and look at unproduced screenplays and imagine "what might have been" when it comes to movies. I'm still of the opinion that Aliens should have ended Ripley's story on a happy ending, and then any further sequels were just unrelated, self-contained stories, like some of the comics or novels. This is especially true since Weaver didn't want to come back, and only did so when offered a boatload of money. Imagine something like Predator 2. That could have worked with a different Xenomorph outbreak with different characters in a different setting. It didn't always have to come back to Ripley's story.

I know evil dead has been done by review shows, but you did just finish Jason goes to hell. I know the next 3 are Jason X, Freddy vs. Jason, and the Remake. (It’s not as bad as people say.) With the new Evil Dead game releasing and Rise coming out later this year, is there a chance you would talk about Freddy vs Jason vs Ash? Like a one off video for Patreon similar to this? The game is doing great and has an overwhelming positive outlook to the extent that Dead by Daylight streamer have switched to Evil Dead the Game. Streamers with view counts at 3.5k are increasing double not only triple. Otzdarva in the past week has gotten more views for Evil Dead than his normal Dbd count. It’s just a small observation but I feel that FvJvA is really only talked about by horror comic channels and a lot of the time people forget this was close to being made into a film. I bring it up to people and it seems only my friend and I have heard of it. Thank you for taking the time to read this and I hope everyone has a good day.

Awesome endcap to Alien3 week! Very informative and educational. You know what else is informative and educational? Binge watching a bunch of 7th Heaven episodes. #HoorayForCutiesFanMonth

Finally getting around to watching this, and it's great! I do enjoy on that "world building" note how in Aliens: Fireteam Elite you get a ton of backstory on the Colonial Marines and all of the politics in the Alien movie world.
