Hello lovely patrons,

Surprise episode! We're not quite done with Silent Hill 2 just yet.

We recorded this a while back, but it's been satisfying to see all the comments asking for us to record a show where we discuss the game at length and take a look at the little details we missed, knowing we had this video waiting to go.

Basically, this is Roundtable Hold but all about Silent Hill 2. So if you want to take a deeper dive into the game's lore, see how it compares with the original, and find out lots of cool little things about the game, this is the show for you!

We hope you enjoy this, and let us know what you think about this format.

Sam Blakley

Without even watching it I love the format! My algorithm was feeding me silent hill de briefs, but I was waiting for this as the level of care and detail is spot on 👌🏻👌🏻 Mary Christmas!

Angelo Totaro

Oh this is amazing guys! Cannot wait to watch this later. Happy Holidays boys!

Nick Warner

Id love this to become a regular for any series you do, roundtable hold was great and I was hoping for this. Merry Christmas everyone ❤️

David Currie

Perfect game for a lore break down and discussion 👍🏻

FTL Sherlock

Silent Hill f playthrough confirmed?

Ciaran Corrigan

I realised that was happening to me a while back, and it was because I was on a VPN. Obvs not telling you turn off your VPN, if you’ve got one, but that might be the reason why. Having a text link to the video would be nice, too

MKFreigeist

We need a Patreon tier for „the Loremaster explains every game (ever)“. I love how I always get so much more of the game stories even after playing them myself (sometimes more than once)

James

Loved this bonus episode! As a long time SH fan I’ve been desperately waiting for Krupa to unbox it all like he does so well! Can’t wait to watch SH f, genuinely a fantastic entry! Bloober did an incredible job with this game, I’d love for them to remake SH3 after the original, then I’ll be happy. The SH games really fell off after The Room, so it’s great to see new life with these latest entries…

James

Amazing series RKG!

Paul Nonis

Really liked this - thanks! I think Silent Hill 2 is a game that particularly lends itself well to this format

I nomrally click the title of the video on the upper left corner of the video and it takes you to the video on youtubes own page. I do this becase patreon for some reason starts playing the video twice for me, so it echoes. Patreon kinda sucks lol

FTG Vader

Haven't finished the video yet so not sure if it's addressed, but regarding the "in water" ending, there is a key detail that you guys didn't point out. It contains another very important story revelation which is WHEN James killed Mary. The body is in the back seat, which means that he had killed her just then and brought her straight to Silent Hill. She didnt die three years ago; three years ago is when she first got sick. Edit: whelp 😅

I loved this way of rounding up the series! Personally love to see more!!

Daniel T Pinder

I haven't watched it yet but I'm so excited to see. One of my very limited comments on discord was wondering/hoping this would be a feature. One of my favourite games of the last few years.

Richard Skyrme

Great round-up for someone who's not engaged with the Silent Hill series at all and the comparison with the original game was super interesting. Dunno where else to say it, but the title sequence for this series is up there with some of your best work

tophicodemus

Does the hangman puzzle in the prison also affect the ending(s)?

Morgan Fryer-McCulloch

Ive been wanting you guys to go down the Silent Hill rabbit hole for YEARS hahahaha welcome to the fam <3 hope you enjoy the absolute gorgeous insanity!

Ohm Shukla

I think the roundtable hold format is great for a post-series debrief. Can be nice to have in either spookies or retry shows.

Mike McGehee

Silent Hill f? Oh man, maybe time for a play along with the boys

Michael Badcock

I'm gonna have to play f now before your next spookies series That one looks really scary so cheers lads 😡

Daniel Lagergren

Amazing playthrough and a great round off with a ’wrap-up’! Two things: (maybe it was brought up before?) but the photos you boys collected gives an interesting Easter-egg hinting at the purgatory/loop theory when solved as a puzzle. Also, at the very very start of the game before the scene with James in the bathroom there is a faint sound like a ring being dropped, hinting at James just having tossed his wedding ring in the sink. So excited for more RKG Silent Hill! Bloober is remaking the first Silent Hill as well, so we’re eating good atm!
