I love watching lets plays of games but when there's a big release and everyone is playing it I get game fatigue and fed up with watching essentially the same thing. I love it when rkg realises games a little later so it's familiar but also new and of course the lads always play them in a unique way.

About the strange mindset some people have that you should be publishing your Let’s Plays right away when the game has just released. I think the way people play games today differs from the way we played games as kids. Today it’s disposable content. It’s a meme. They get sucked into “what’s hot,” what is everyone playing on Twitch, what are all their favorite YouTubers covering. And it lasts until the next big release and then they are done with that other game. It’s old news. Since about 6 months after Elden Ring released, the number of times I have seen people say “Elden Ring is a dead game. Look at how many people are playing it on Twitch. Dead game. We’ve moved on to something better.” is quite high. It’s a sad comment on consumer culture run amok. Where art and life is nothing more than meme material. But here we are.
