Time to explore our second Legacy Dungeon: the Academy of Raya Lucaria.

Well, it takes a little while to even get in there, but Aunty Finchy is heading back to university to face magic and learn more about Welsh Hogwarts.

Spirit summons are an intrinsic mechanic of the game, it’s counter-productive to not use them. I mean, I’m assuming Krups used them on his playthrough and technically shouldn’t it be up to Rory if he’s used them or not since he is doing 100% of the gameplay? Just my thoughts is all

You must be new here. No summons has been a thing since Dark Souls 1. It's just a self enforced restriction they enjoy sticking to. They aren't forcing Rory to do anything. More often than not he ignores what they tell him anyway. Parrying or wearing clothes is another intrinsic mechanic that Rory chooses not to use

You can put the patreon password in the matchmaking settings inside of elden ring. It will only work if you have a ps5 though.

I am pretty sure it was Rory's choice in the end if he was going to use summons on big bosses. I am also fairly certain if they proper stuck on a boss they will eventually use a summon if Rory really feels he wants it

Has Rory forgotten about the Guard Counter? (Block attack then attack) Also I’ve been dying to know why he decided to put his staff in the same hand as his sword? He’s never going to magic and shield is he? And last, Baldachins Blessing is giving you a Health Debuff, shown just under your health bar, please use it!!

Huh? PTT DS1 had plenty of summons (gargoyles, quelaag, o&s ETC) . I do agree that it’s up to them not to use it here. I certainly enjoy it a lot more when they don’t summon.
