Krupa brought One Cut of the Dead into my life for which I will forever be thankful

Tom Andersen

Ju-On 2 is a very good sequel. Arguably better than the first one. Also, I really love the kooky energy in Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2. Edit: This episode is a trove of treasures for us horror hounds. I've not seen Hausu or Hell House LLC or The House That Screamed, and now I want to seek them out. Kudos. :D

I want to listen to this now but also save it for when I'm making my tea before the livestream to get into the spooky vibes! But I don't want to wait!

Steve Wood

Did not expect a "dark heart" drop. One of my favorite movies as a kid and for me, the first Care Bears movie was even scarier; the witchy green lady with her face coming out of some kind of evil book? Creepy AF.

Some great stuff on Gav and Krupa's lists here, some of which I've not seen and have been added to my watchlist! It's interesting that Krupa mentions the weird mix of languages in La Residentia, because it's something that I've noticed in a lot of Italian horror films a well. In particular I was re-watching Lucio Fulci's Zombi last night and it's very clear that different actors are speaking in different languages in the same scene!

Always enjoy listening to you guys talk about films! Loved Hell House LLC being on the list, it was such a nice surprise when I watched it. Can't wait to track down a lot of the others, sounds like time to resub to Shudder for a bit! - The Lighthouse was amazing too!

Ed Armitage

Great taste krupa - hellhouse, coherence and kill list are some of my fave films

Michael Badcock

Amazing list of films I got from this cannot wait to watch em!!!

Sam Mulholland

Anyone got a Letterboxd collection of all the films mentioned? I listened to it in the car so couldn’t collate one myself

Eric

Coming in late to say if you haven't seen Hell House LLC I recommend it. It's not amazing but it's really good. I'd say skip the two immediate sequels but check out the recent Hell House LLC The Origins.
