This week Aunty Finchy journeys into the very of Aeonia to help save a young girl. What an absolute legend.

She's already got enough on her plate with finding Radahn, and making the stars turn, but she still has time to help save another soul. There's even plenty of time to explore Sellia, Town of Sorcery, too.

Enjoy the next episode of RETRY: Elden Ring early, RKG patrons!

This is not getting uni work done. Ah well, what’s another two hours!

O'neils absolutely kicked my ass first playthrough, excited to see Rory deal with him this morning

Actually dreading playing through this episode as I'm catching up with my own Auntie. 😱

I’m confused now. Can Powers parry or not?

Mario

been wating to see this

I think summoning Jar is fine! Really enjoyed Rory strategizing his resources against O’Neil.

Ahhhh the greatest boss of Elden Ring weapon requirements (wait till he sees the later boss weapons)

Was expecting you to come across the Invader Millicent while in the swamp. Somehow you circled everywhere around where she invades without actually finding her

Daniel Krupa: Master Plumber Rory Powers: Accidental arsonist haha.

PhoenixDown

Daniel, Gav please let Rory use his spirit summons. The game is hard enough as is not to mention the wild build you are all using is already enough of a handicap.

Rory's commander O'Neill fight was genuinely so impressive. His weapon is basically a feather tickling the enemy. He his parry in the middle of being rushed down? Unreal. I think you guys should let him use summons and a real build, particularly for you-know-who at the end of the game.

Johnathan Smith

I think you guys have a great balance of using summons and not. Powers really shined on O'Neill as he had several handicaps in my opinion. If balancing is an issue, one thing I love to do in my own playthroughs now is to treat myself to levelling only after a boss. Character level, weapon level, summon level, etc., can be levelled immediately after a boss (any boss) but no other time. So you will theoretically have a smaller pool of runes to level up and you immediately get payoff for your hard work. That keeps me from getting too strong because once you get good at these games you begin to want to handicap yourself.

I would honestly say I really hope you use the summons more! I love seeing you use them and like become friends with them like their Pokémon. I hope you use them with less restrictions and have fun with them!

Luke Blunden

Can't please everyone can you, I'm personally happy you went no jarwright, thought the parry strat was much more impressive and entertaining to watch!

Dan mac

Smashed it as usual! I would love to see a bits and bobs episode include going through some older weapons you picked up and testing them now Aunty Finchy is a higher level!

I really love that you guys limit the spirit summons. you still use them in the overworld so you get to experience them but you don't use them for more traditional boss fights. I found that as you get more used to the game the spirit summons end up making some very satisfying boss encounters trivial and a little too easy, especially in the later game. Loved the episode!!!
