The finale to season 1!

This season made me cry over books, a smile, multiple fights, a bookshop, bird symbolism, and cute songs....

I've been out with a fever the last few days so this was amazing to wake up to! Can't wait for season 2! Also, fun little tidbit: when they get on the bus, you can see Aziraphale reach down briefly. It's been confirmed by both Neil and David (Crowley) that they held hands on the bus. :)

GriefInHold

yeah i love so much your reaction but maybe you should have a Good omens season 2 tissue box for the occasion bc i got emotional for season 1 but i sobbed so hard for season 2, so i'm se ding you good vibes! 🫶

Saph

Season 2 is so good! Can't wait for the next episode

ximechata

Yay!! By the way, I plan on sending you a little Good Omens related gift soon, not sure how fast it’ll get there since i’m in Florida but it would be awesome if it gets there in time for your next livestream or maybe an unboxing video! but if not that’s fine too, it’s not meant for me to show off it’s just something i saw and thought you’d like 💖

Stephen Ray

The bonus content at the beginning is fantastic. Couldn't wait for the reaction to let you know.

The song "a nightingale sang at Berkley Square " is way older than Good Omens. It's Original from 1939/1940. 😁

Miriam 090985

Look at it closely, THEY ARE HOLDING HANDS IN THE BUS!🤩😇

i also didn’t enjoy the b-plot as much and that was one of the reasons i enjoyed s2 more!!

I remember that when I watched the series, the plots of other characters weren't for me, I started it for Aziraphale and Crowley, but when was reading the book I liked them much more than in the series, in particular I managed to like Adam in the book + the horsemen of the Apocalypse are more developed and somehow I feel like I laughed more while reading it. After all, it's a comedy, right? And although the book will remain in my heart anyway, when it comes to the series, I enjoyed watching the second season more than the first one, so I hope that you will watch it too in the near future. I will also add that there will be a 3rd season! Season 2 has nothing to do with the book and Neil Gaiman came up with the idea for this season to be a story link between season 3 and season 1, and season 3 was born from the idea of Neil and Terry Pratchett plans for a sequel to the book, which unfortunately was never written due to Terry's death ❤️ and what is really amazing, Neil dedicated script book for Terry. And if you would like to see more great fantasy life action with similar moral themes, I recommend The Sandman (Netflix). It's also a series based on the works of Neil Gaiman! I fucking love his works, series, movies, books! So I highly recommend it.

Also when it comes to Neil Gaiman and this time animations: I recommend the film Coraline with my entire heart, which is a stop-motion animation adapted from his book of the same title

Thinking abt the Nightingale LOUDLY.... I'm sorry for everything that is coming. I really am. The emotions are going wild next season. But I know I will really enjoy your reaction to it like I did to this season :D

My favorite thing about Aziraphale and Crowley is that they contradict so much of what the angel and demon stereotypes tell us they should be. Crowley is the demon but is as close to a pacifist as he can be. In all cases he'll try to talk his way out of trouble and the one time he killed he made it into a trap where no one would get hurt if they didn't come into the room to hurt him. In the book he doesn't even hurt his plants, he just miracles them into their natural habitat and turns on a wood chipper so the other plants THINK he killed them. Aziraphale, on the other hand, will happily arrange your death out of pure pettiness for interrupting his attempt to eat good French crepes lol

Starlight 420

I absolutely cannot wait for you to react to season 2. The longer your reactions, the happier I become. 😊😊

A fun detail that's easy to miss. When they pan out at the end, during the song, if you look in the background behind the two of them, the wing of the white piano behind them is extended out over Crowley in an echo of the way Aziraphale's wing covered Crowley back on the wall of Eden.

You’re going to love the fanfiction when you’ve finished the show! It’s honestly one of the best fandoms i’ve read fanfics of

Morgan Terry

Oh you’re gonna be thrilled to know both episodes of s2 I filmed so far are over an hour and 20 minutes each 🤣

Citycrows

the nipple thing is because in folklore witches will have more or less than two (and they would call any moles larger than average on a womans chest an “extra” nipple to have an excuse to execute her)

Starlight 420

Yayyyy! I can’t wait! 😃😃😃😃

Gigi

Mmmkay now that you've finished season one I want to recommend a story that goes on my list of all time favorite fanfics ever. There are no spoilers for future seasons and it's a genfic but still focuses on the love between Aziraphale and Crowley; there's also a beautiful meditation on God's history with and feelings about Crowley, and a really awesome plotline building in the present day timeline that I don't want to give details on in case I spoil it. It's called If We've Got Nothing (We've Got Us) by Kedreeva. https://archiveofourown.org/works/19253575/chapters/45786235 It is a good long story and I liked being able to see things like what words were emphasized with italics and capital letters but there's also a gorgeous podfic of it. https://archiveofourown.org/works/23924860

Morgan Terry

Thank you so much for the recommendations! I'm definitely gonna check these out! I've been reading so much Aziracrow fanfiction lately

Tona

The Direction David was given for the Bentley was exploding was 'Just picture its the TARDIS'

KJ Benson

It's been SO much fun seeing your reactions to this show, especially your emotional reactions to Aziracrow!! :) I also liked that you took the time to really analyze and listen to Nightingale In Berkley Square, because that's THE Aziracrow song! I'm always on the hunt for queer media whether animated or live action, so I'm glad you decided to give GO a chance despite not usually doing reactions to live action shows (and shows with longer episode runtimes)! Good Omens is really a special show for a lot of us in the queer community :) I also think you're going to enjoy season 2 a LOT more than season 1 - I think a lot of us can agree that when we do rewatches of S1, we typically skip to all the Aziracrow moments rather than actually rewatching the whole thing (at least that's what I do lmao). Thankfully S2 is much more focused on them, and it's a lot more queer in general!

Citycrows

honestly youre so lucky to not need to wait YEARS for season 2, everything you liked about S1 theres so much more of in S2, dying for the reaction

Sunshower Mess

Oh man season 2 is gonna kill ya! In the best way possible! Loved your reactions btw. Happy to see you enjoyed it so much! ^_^

Matthew

I bet Not So Average Fangirl would love Good Omens too!

Kieran Shae Reacts

random question but why does Morgan hold their phone up to reflect the screen at the start of the video? Also anyone know what they use to film/edit? Trying to start my own channel and well it's rough going

Morgan Terry

I use my phone as a reflective surface to time up the screen recording and the camera footage. Highly recommend having something like that to sync everything up as it saves so much time. I use OBS to capture my screen and Final Cut Pro to edit. Hope this helps!
